The Astro

"I LOVE The Astro. The retro feel of the place is wonderful. Our room was large, clean and comfortable with a huge bathroom and a little "back yard" The breakfast was good and the staff was more than welcoming! I would happily stay here again, anytime! BTW I realized a few hours after we checked out that I had lost my wallet. I called them and the girl who answered the phone searched our room, found my wallet and put it in a plastic bag for me. I was sooooo relieved! She saved our trip!"

"This is a really nice place to stay. The valet parking is easy. Has an Elevator which isn’t always the case in old buildings. Staff is great and lots of great restaurants close by which is good since no restaurant on site. Breakfast is bagels, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, etc. coffee in the lobby is super good. My room had a fridge but no microwave. Everything worked well. The only thing to be aware of is there is a park across the street with lots of unhoused people in it. Most people didn’t seem to mind. Lots of people walking around the shops and restaurants. But does seem a bit sketchy at night walking around alone."

"Friendly guest check in, comfortable bed, cute little kitchen. Restaurant on property was very busy early in the morning. Ask to stay away from it if you plan on sleeping in."

"Very chill place for a young family to hang out. Easy to get around and a cool 50's vibe. Close to a few stores. Drinks by the pool were not great candidly. Frozen they were not. The outside bar could do with a lot more ice and a few actual blenders to make proper frozen drinks. But lite-bites by the pool were great. Kids loved the quesadillas and hummus snacks. And service was helpful."
