“We absolutely loved our stay! The rooms were amazing, we had taken our parents to wine country and wanted somewhere to be close to the Square but a good central location. It’s on the Square and we were within an hour of everywhere we wanted to go! Brandon the manager was absolutely amazing and helpful and gave us a great recommendation on another great winery to visit. Having only 6 rooms and we had 3 half the hotel we didn’t even know others were staying when we were! Staff was great and……

“I never write a review but the property was so bad I had to warn others. We had the room under the stairs. Broken door knob on the entry door. There was an exterior door that was boarded up next to our bed making it feel like you were on the street when it came to noise levels. Very noisy. Daily cleaning of the room was not done or offered. 1 Star hotel at a 5 Star price.”

We enjoyed our stay, one night, at The Charles; it was comfortable, convivial, well-appointed, delicious, gracious, and Dolly, our hostess, was delightful, warm, welcoming, and beautiful. Highly recommend. We walked to town, to the river, to our show at The Uptown Theater, and slept so well in our king bed. The front porch, the outdoor courtyard, the dining and living rooms were perfect.”

“Room is very clean and big, having enough items, such as basic showing items, and body lotions. Staffs and manager are all nice, and its breakfast tastes good! The location is excellent, walking to downtown only needing few minutes.”
