"This property was so welcoming and quiet from the front walk to the creek behind the meditation room. Wine and cheese in the game room in the evenings to a mimosa bar in the breakfast room, are complimentary. We even walked to a local restaurant for dinner. Traffic noise was minimal when we were here in early May. "

"The only reason I gave only 4 stars is that the property is undergoing a major renovation to be finished in the next month. It is impossible to rate cleanliness. Reno’d rooms are very nice. Nice pool and hot tub. One block walk to the square. We will go back. "

"The Jack London Lodge is very basic, with mid-fifties decor and minimal furnishing in rooms. However, it was very clean and comfortable, and the bed was high quality. "

It was very close to the main road so was somewhat noisy. We were placed in this building as this is where the double queen rooms are located. This probably wouldn’t be a problem if you were staying in the main inn. Also parking a bit tight for for our full size SUV. "
