I enjoyed the hotel breakfast, fresh made. The hotel is on the beach and the staff makes sure you have drinks and food if needed. The beach was beautiful, but you will get asked if you want a massage several times a day. I traveled solo so I didn't walk around the neighborhood by myself. Hotel is clean, bed was comfortable, and shower had hot water and great water pressure. Older building but kept up well. All the staff was very welcoming.

Great Juneteenth stay

The location of the stay was perfect, literally steps from the beach--we were thankful for that. The breakfast was amazing, and the staff is A-1. The only problem I can say there is with the place, is the size of the beds. If you're on the smaller side, you have nothing to worry about. But if you're on the bigger side and plan on sharing a bed, you better choose a bigger bed

The hotel staff was exceedingly friendly and helpful. Breakfast every morning was very fresh. It's certainly walkable on the beach side, but on the busy street side watch out for motorcycles! The waters are gorgeous. The deluxe beach room's view was limited, but overall a good stay!

The staff at Zapata is amazing, day and night, the rooms are cleaned daily, breakfast is not special but fresh everyday. The only issue I had was with mosquitoes, so get your spray because they are not spraying, and it is mostly under the table at breakfast, so wear long pants for breakfast

Have been coming since 2004. The pillows are way better. Very friendly and laid back. The beach and water are cleaner than i have ever seen. This is a local beach. More locals than tourists. Love this place.
