The pool facilities were beautifully maintained and provided the perfect setting for relaxation. The restaurants were outstanding, and the breakfast was excellent, offering a delicious and varied selection each morning. What truly elevated our experience, however, was the exceptional staff. Everyone we encountered was knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making our stay all the more memorable. Overall, we had an incredible experience and cannot recommend Octant Douro highly enough. We sincerely hope to return in the future and look forward to exploring some of Octant’s other properties throughout Portugal."

"The property is stunning!!! The views are indescribable - you have to see for yourself to really experience. Traveled with group of 6 - late 50s, early 60s (good physical shape overall)....I will say that there are TONS of steps to get anywhere and if you are unable to do a lot of steps (I mean TONS) - this is not the property for you. If you are able to do steps you have to see this place! One thing that I'll remember is Eduardo helping us check in saying "this is your home for your stay.....treat it as such and enjoy all that the property offers"......The snack bar is meh. The breakfast buffet more than satisfying...."
