Adegas do Pico is a set of twelve stone built houses located in Praínha, Pico island, where the guests enjoy the hospitality and the feeling of the traditional Azorean village.

Peace, Quiet, wonderful views and no fuss.

The property was as described. Communication with property before and during the stay was excellent, prompt, clean and efficient, even down to arranging taxis, car hire and booking restaurants. Any requests were dealt with efficiently eg there was no kettle when we arrived, and being British we needed tea. 5 minutes later Sylvie was back with a kettle with no fuss. Check in for us was just right, after 14 hours travelling, straight to the property and again no fuss. Brief show around the property, given a map with places of interest on & restaurants with contact numbers. If you popped into the office just up the road, staff were friendly and helpful at all times. and if they said something would be done, then it was, there and then. Many thanks to all the staff for a great time.

Wonderful vacation on Pico Island

We had a wonderful time visiting the Azores, and our stay at this lovely home made it even more wonderful. The home is on the hillside, over looking a small village and the ocean. You can spend your days exploring the island, the volcano, the caves, horsebackriding ( go to Turispico!) or just sitting on the porch watching the clouds roll down the hillside into the sea.. It was perfect for our family of two adults and three children ages 11,9, and 4. The master bedroom is on the first floor, there are 2 bedrroms with 2 single beds in each downstairs. There are cows near the yard. and beautiful flowers in the garden. The views from the property are breathtaking. The property is safe, secure, and lovely. Only things to know is there is no wifi, you have to go to the office, just 1km up the road, for internet connection, If you are looking for peace, quiet, and natural beauty with comforts of home, this is your spot. Enjoy!!
