"We really enjoyed our stay, and the view of the apartment and the host was super helpful and responsive with several questions we had along the way. The only reason for a 4 rating was the floor wasn't super clean (the rest was) and it was a particularly hot week late July/early August and we found the apartment very hot and hard to cool down, even with fans. We would recommend staying here!"

"The Whales Bay hotel is highly recommended. The place was very nice and clean. We enjoyed swimming in the pool and even got into the jacuzzi for a few minutes. The location is nice also as it is out in a quieter area but still only about 25 minutes t Ponta Delgada. The only thing missing was a nice breakfast."
