nice place close to the things we wanted to do..ringling museum,beach,yoders restaurant etc.while the house is located in not the best part of town..it was quiet..and clean..and a very good price

Short visit to Sarasota

Very comfortable nicely renovated home. Everything was neat and clean. Home is at the end of the street, so no traffic and very quiet. We would stay here again.

Hidden Treasure

Located in a safe, well-maintained, but lower middle class neighborhood, this property has been beautifully re-done interioraly, and the grounds are well maintained. patio is delightful. I'd stay here again if in SW Florida.

Great stay

We had a very nice stay at Casa Azul. The suite was very clean and well maintained. The bathroom appeared to be newly renovated. The house was well stocked and the location was very convenient, being just a couple of blocks away from Ringling School of Art and Design. We appreciated the fact that it was pet friendly, and the fenced-in backyard was a plus. We would definitely return when in the area again.

This was a clean, well stocked home close to local attractions. Neighborhood safety was questionable, but we had no issues during our stay.

Great experience.

This place is a hidden gem. It is located in a rough side of town but other than that we had no issues. Its location is close to just about everything and it was very quiet and peaceful. It does have a separate room attached to it that someone either lives in or stays at but they ere far enough away that we never saw them or heard them. Would definitely recommend it.

Amazing getaway

Where we stayed was fabulous! Location for all the things we were doing was perfect. The property was clean we had everything we needed. Will definitely recommend this rental to everyone i know. Already planning our next trip to stay there. We had an opportunity to see the owners before we left, very lovely people.

The best getaway

Amazing experience

This house was such a gem for us. We come to Sarasota often to visit friends and this time was the first time that we book a place to stay. Beautiful house, with everything that you need, clean and quiet. That patio was amazing to hang out after a day in the beach. We definitely will come back and I am recommending this place to anyone that is looking to come to Sarasota.Thank you for everything!!

Great Place!

First of all, I’m not sure why other reviewers were saying the neighborhood didn’t look that safe. We never got that vibe. The place was amazing! Very clean and comfortable. Loved the decorations and the overall look of the place, the beds were very comfortable. The backyard was large and great for our furry companion. This place worked out perfectly for us and the host was always responsive and helpful with whatever questions we had. Would definitely stay again, if we’re ever back in the area.

Cute house

I was little worried about the location, but there was nothing to worry about. It was at the end of the street and quiet neighborhood. Very cute decor, they had everything we needed and it was perfect for us. Kids enjoyed playing in a backyard. We had a problem with a washing machine but host’s parents took care of the situation. We will definitely stay again.

Two night stay

Not very far from major attractions and near main road with restaurants and grocery stores etc..Very clean, roomy and quiet. Nice kitchen. Downsides- there is no table (not even small one) for meals or evening games/cards. Bar stools are nice, but one guest had a physical disability and couldn’t use such high stools. Inconvenient that both bedrooms had large TVs but none in living area where people gather. Found washer didn’t work correctly (after clothes in with soap and some water), but manager responded very quickly, came for clothes and did the laundry, folded and returned that evening- over and above expectations and very satisfied.

Ok but not great

I was not aware of this when booking — there is a room attached to the side of house with a separate door entrance. No one else was there when we arrived but the next morning of our stay, a man was parked on the side of the house. I guess he lives there? We checked out shortly after but it was kind of weird and I was not aware it was a shared property. Overall, the neighborhood is iffy but very close to all the main attractions we were visiting so it was convenient for us. The house was clean from a surface level but needs a serious deep clean. Lots of wear and tear throughout the house, you see it as soon as you see the front door condition. The window in the shower has a film on it to cover it but the film was cut unevenly so it does not fully cover the sides of the window in the shower. We had to put up a towel up to cover it. The backyard was fine but very dirty. The washer and dryer is outside and not very usable as it’s full of rust and dirt all around it. The host was accommodating with an early check-in.
