This is a great house. We loved our stay. The kitchen is fully stocked, we actually made it a game looking for something that wasn’t there, couldn’t find anything. It’s conveniently located close to Playa Coco, and about a 40 minute drive from Liberia airport.

Sunset House was everything we expected!

Everything from booking to staying to leaving was perfect. Francisco the property manager was extremely accommodating from giving us all the info to get there to setting up our airport shuttle to and from to meeting us when we arrived and helped us very much as we were leaving. The one comment my wife had was the somewhat dated master bedroom bed but we still slept on it perfectly comfortable. Thank you Francisco and owners!!

Beautiful view

The infinity pool is the star of this house! It has a gorgeous view and gets sun most of the day. The water temp was perfect. The patio has a table to enjoy the view with your meals and chairs to just relax when you're not in the pool. It's close to both playa hermosa and playas del coco.

First Time to Costa Rica

We had a great time staying at Tom's property. Overall, the property was clean. We had a few problems with bugs on the counters and a scorpion in the kitchen. The highlights are the wonderful views from the upstairs bedroom bslcony!balcony

Sunset house did not disappoint

We stayed for 11 days and had no issues. Check in too check out any questions we had were answered quickly. This is our second time staying at this house and both times were great.

Best place in Coco

Wow. Not sure where to start. 1. EZ to find and great management communication 2. My teenage daughter is a runner and non US destinations make me nervous. This place was one of the only with sidewalks in the town and the area felt very safe. 3. Great views. Kids loved the pool and we loved the scenery. 4. stay here!

Beautiful and comfortable home -- even during a tropical storm!

The house was spacious, well-maintained, and beautifully designed. It had three large bedrooms and a large yard making it perfect for a group or family. The living areas were open-plan, with large glass windows that allowed the natural light to flood in. Despite the fact that we were there during Tropical Storm Sara and saw very little sunshine – the house was clean and comfortable, offering a peaceful retreat from the storm. The location was ideal, with stunning views of the ocean and lush hills in the distance and within a short drive to all the amenities we needed: grocery stores, restaurants, and a lovely local beach. The property was also fully stocked with beach towels and snorkling gear.

Great view, remote getaway, responsive owner

Easy to get to, check process super easy, house was clean. Owner was super flexible, and was very attentive. Lots of extras especially w beach gear that came in handy. So many great and remote beaches nearby. Loved them and the view!

Wonderful stay in Coco

Wonderful view and pool, the ice maker in the fridge was a great bonus! Francisco was great to deal with made sure we had everything we needed. The outdoor furniture could be upgraded as well as master bed mattress. Definitely need a vehicle, property is close to Coco Beach but up a very steep hill. Views were amazing and overall a great stay.

We enjoyed our stay

Beautiful view and private backyard where we spent most of our time enjoying the pool. The beds were a bit hard for my back. We didn’t need anything but food. Tom has everything u need there. Still have the old patio furniture. Francisco was the best. Responded to our texts quickly. Very good Property manager.

Wonderful views

Nice house with wonderful views from several ares on the property and a great pool. The kitchen was good for cooking. It was clean and it was great for relaxing. The kitchen has a sliding glass door with no covering and that might bother some people. Communication was great. The only issue we had was that the listening mistakenly said it was a 3 min walk to Coco Beach and it would have been at least 15 mins on a very steep, no sidewalks,

Amazing Location

The views from this house were spectacular! My kids loved swimming while watching the sunset and underneath the stars. We got to see crazy storms roll by and enjoyed the small town of Coco and it’s nearby beaches. Definitely don’t be afraid to drive down some back roads to find smaller or more secluded beaches- we got to some that were just beautiful! The house itself could use some updates. Small kitchen appliances were out of date or slightly damaged. New outdoor cushions that are not torn or don’t fit the chairs would go a long way to help this space feel more put together/inviting. Over all, this house was great AND a few maintenance touches would help tremendously.

Sunset House

Great location, have stayed in same neighborhood previously. We had a slight mix up with the entrance code but resolved it on our own, #'s were reversed for the key box entrance. Ants were everywhere upon entrance. Dead & alive crawling up & down walls. In the floor around windows. Baths & bedrooms were clean but beds are sub standard. You should.consider replacing with Foundations & new mattress. Weeds in back yard along with hose & old lounge chair. I moved the hose & chair, they were unsightly. Weather & view were lovely. Sorry but i expected a little better because i know the neighborhood.

Wonderful!!!

We had the most wonderful stay at Sunset House. The property itself it beautiful. Every day we enjoyed spending time in the swimming pool (with Michael the lizard keeping a watchful, if wary eye on us). The view from the house is absolutely spectacular and we loved how open and spacious the home is. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to prepare dinners in, and we made great use of the fantastic outdoor grill. Mornings spent drinking coffee on the balcony outside of the master bedroom became a treasured ritual, and we have so many photographs of the sunset which is -spectacular. I also managed to photograph a comet and the Southern Cross which is not something visible to those of us from the Northern Hemisphere. We had a great time visiting nearby beaches including Playa Ocotol, Playa Hermosa, Playa Panama and – of course, Playa Flamingo. (I do not recommend following the Waze shortcut to get to Playa Flamingo as it will have you crossing a creek!) We also visited Poza Los Coyotes which was magical! We also spent an afternoon beach hopping with Marcy (contact through website My Tan Feet) going to secluded, crystal water beaches that can only be reached by boat. Dining out we had great meals at Mar Azul and Numu Taproom and Bistro. Our favorite was Verde Salvia on Boulevard Playas del Coco. This chef-owned restaurant serves authentic Italian food by an Italian trained, Italian born chef. Our second time at the restaurant we managed to book the chef’s risotto tab
