Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This villa has an amazing view of the bay and beautiful sunsets. The rental company, Papagayo Exclusive Services S.A communicated very well and gave a detailed introduction to the property. The villa had recently been redone beautifully.

Villa Sol 62

Villa was lovely, Nicely equipped and beautifully update. We enjoyed our stay very much ! The only suggestion would be to install some type of insulated heavier curtains or shades for the glass doors in the main living area. The afternoon sun is very intense and makes it difficult to keep the unit cool. Thanks for a great stay !!

1. We had an issue as soon as we got to the unit with bug infestation. The management company offered to fumigate but we decided against this because of the chemicals and health reasons. They did provide bug spray that we used on a daily basis. It was minimally effective and very bothersome. 2. We had an issue with all 3 showers. Once again, the management company was very responsive and tried to address the issue right away. Unfortunately, it took numerous visits and the problem was never really resolved. It was very intrusive having the plumbers in our unit for an extended periods of time. We were given various reasons for the issues including property water pressure issues, calcium deposits, and mechanical issues. Also, there was limited hot water because of the size of the tank. There was only 4 of us in a 3 bedroom unit but we still ran out of hot water quickly. 3. There was a washer and dryer in the unit but it was not made available to us. 4. The tile floor was extremely dirty. Our socks were filthy after walking on the tiles for a short period of time. 5. The bedspread in one of the bedrooms had numerous stains. 6. The unit had minimal dish towels. 7. The bugs were crawling out of the electrical outlets and appliances. 8. The unit was well supplied with dishes, pots, pans, etc. 9. On a positive note, the management company did provide 2 free cleanings because of all of the issues.
