Perfect location, exactly suited our needs

Property was exactly as advertised - super close to the heart of Saugatuck as well as close to beaches, easy access, clean, and the hot tub was great! Everything was easy to use and figure out and communication from the time of booking to check in/check out was seamless and easy. Would definitely book again. Thank you!!

Mid week getaway

We were in town for three days to visit Saugatuck and use the bike trails. The property was as described, clean and more than roomy enough for two couples. The walk to town was comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

Spring Break Starter

This cottage was absolutely perfect. Spent the weekend with my fiancée and 2 of our children. The cottage was immaculate. The kitchen and eating area were large and well stocked. The bathrooms were large and clean. The bedrooms were all good sized and had nice storage. Love that the primary suite was separate from the rest of the bedrooms. Good parking. An easy walk to downtown shops and restaurants. Definitely would recommend this cottage.

Girls Weekend

We enjoyed the house - location and hot tub were great. It was very clean and offered enough space for my four daughters and me. My only suggestion would be towel hooks - they are greatly needed. None in the front bathroom. Also more mirrors for getting ready would be nice. The week end was a huge success. I would highly recommend staying with Quaint Cottages.

Good location

Good location a few blocks from downtown. Showers were small, took us a day to figure out we had access to Netflix & Hulu (notes would have been a good idea. It rained a lit during out stay). Overall cleanliness left a lot to be desired but I'm extremely picky. Hot tub didn't work the first night but we were able to use our neighbors and ours was fixed the next day.

Should be better for the price

We arrived to a place full of dog hair, didn't appear anyone had cleaned much at all. There was a definite natural gas smell back by the laundry room at times intense. Dishwasher was full of dirty dishes. Main bathroom only thing that seemed to have been cleaned was the toilet. Water spots and soap residue all over faucet handle and shower doors. No where to store clothes, no hangers or dresses provided. I would not stay here again for the price we paid.

We enjoyed our Swallow cottage. It mainly had everything we needed for making a breakfast. Plastic cups for the hot tub would be nice. We were missing hangers in the closets for our clothes, so I had a friend bring some. The master bed near the laundry is super soft and you start to sink into it - not in a good way - hahaha. I Needed an adjustment afterwards. The room with the two beds sure could use a small dresser for there things. For the opposite master please add a mirror for getting ready! Helps eliminate using small bathroom space. We couldn’t see at night to get jets working on the hot tub, but having warm water was a nice. The screened in porch was lovely!Great location! Just minutes from downtown!

Perfect weekend home base

Four of us enjoyed our first trip to western Michigan for Tulip Time. The Swallow was perfect for us—- quiet, clean, well furnished and stocked. We enjoyed learning about the history of the house. The living spaces were comfortable and inviting, and the bedrooms were comfortable. Central air and heat were set well, and showers were excellent. The location was perfect for venturing to Holland, and we enjoyed excellent meals in Saugatuck restaurants. We highly recommend your cottage.

Fun spring weekend in Saugatuck!!

We had a wonderful stay in The Swallow! The home was well appointed, spacious and clean. My only suggestion is to update pictures on VRBO…the new furniture & paint are beautiful! The older pictures don’t do the home justice!!

The photos are not correct & therefore misleading. The jacuzzi was not the one in photo. It was much older & difficult to take cover off & on so only used it once. Living room had fireplace in photo & there wasn’t one. Actually the LR furniture was better than photo as sectional & sofa. It was a great location & everything worked in house. The outside needs painting,

Excellent vacation spot

We had a great time at The Swallow. The house was perfect for our group. Plenty of common space and it was nice having separate room/bathroom spaces plus a huge closet to keep our stuff in! Excellent location for walking to bars, restaurants and shops. The hot tub was a nice bonus.

Perfect Gem for Saugatuck Sibling Trip

Beautiful, clean and comfortable describes The Swallow! We loved the location, a short walking distance into town for dining & shopping. Morning coffee on the screened-in porch was the best. Great host, definitely would stay here again!

2 nd time staying here. Great location. The main TV would not stream channels for us and the guide said it came with HULU. The coffee maker we had to keep hitting the brew button but otherwise nice house and location
