To be fair, the room was spacious and recently painted. However, the bathroom was not cleaned at all from previous occupancy. It was absolutely disgusting (think pubic hairs and feces). We only stayed one night going from FL to NC and I wish I hadn't booked this stay at all. We could not shower or potty. Nor could we eat breakfast there after I witnessed the woman making pancake mix in the back office where they do laundry. I'm guessing the owners maintain the place without any help which means nothing is done ethically. The renovation is the paint, there were old tissues behind furniture. I can say the beds were spacious and comfortable. I would not stay again, a clean bathroom is a necessity.

The staff were awesome! We were absolutely exhausted from travel, and I had accidentally reserved the wrong day the staff quickly helped us get a room so that we could rest. The woman went above and beyond, and was the most friendly of all the hotels we stayed in.

I came in from Tennessee, arrived at about 7am to check in. Was charged an extra $30. Dropped my belongings off. When I arrived back to my room, and my tv didn’t work, couldn’t call phone didn’t work. When I said something to staff the guy came ( who smelled like a fresh bag of cut onions) in told me that my tv worked , he tried to turn it on and then said oh it doesn’t work. But you got this room because you checked in early. So the question was I paid extra to get a room that nothing works in. I received a new room. After getting settled in that room and ate my dinner went to wash my hands and the sink and tub was full of nasty water, my room was changed a 3rd time. Staff had a nasty attitude about it. Kept cutting me off when I would ask questions. They is by far my worst experience. Also neither phone worked in any room I had, I was told well you have a cell phone. There was no do not disturb signs, I requested staff not to go in my room and clean and they did. This is completely unacceptable. I will not recommend this property to anyone
I was told someone upstairs put food down in their sink and it caused this, I didn’t post the tub because that was even worst.

Customer Services he was great, but the room smelled funky and And the bed or the air conditioning smelled of cigarettes; the wifi didn't work for working, they wouldn't provide the password, they only allowed to enter it and you had to work from the lobby instead of from the room, that was very unfortunate for me because my trip was for business.

Chose this hotel because they are pet friendly and the price per night was reasonable. Charge for our cat was also reasonable. Property was newly renovated which was evident. Nice clean lobby area with bright spaces. Our room was a nice size double queen room. Just a couple things that weren’t working, the phone didn’t work and the WiFi wouldn’t allow us to stream anything, but these things were not a big deal for us, perhaps they need to add some WiFi extenders. The lamp in our room was missing a lamp shade, but they noted it upon check out so I’m sure this will be corrected before the next guest books the room. The breakfast was not as good as I would expect for a new renovation, as the juice machine only poured out water and the eggs and sausage were pretty tasteless, but again, for the price it wasn’t the worst we’ve had. There is absolutely nothing about this hotel that I can rate less than a 4-5 star rating. Would definitely stay here again.

The room is lovely, but the finishing touches are missing. The phone didn't work, no clock, no cups or coffee available in the room or lobby.There was a single night light for two beds, the usb port to charge a phone was not working, breakfast choices were poor and much of what was offered had run out and was not restocked. Our check-in staff member was pleasant and did try to assist where he could.
