We were placed in one room on the second floor and after hauling all our items up the stairs, the room smelled of pot and mold. My husband is a diabetic and we need an in room fridge which wasn’t working. They offered to hold his insulin in the office so my husband took it down stairs. We then found the that the floor in front of the ac was soaking wet. We changed rooms and hauled all our stuff down the hall to the second room and found that room smelled even worse. We immediately packed all our things in the car and went to tell them we were leaving. In the process, they switched shifts and “couldn’t find” my husband’s insulin. I refused to leave and they finally figured out where it was. Now they are claiming we spent too much time in the hotel to warrant a refund.

I didn't like walking thru a hallway, to access the inner rooms, and it smelling like a sewers. Closest to office. I almost left then. The room was clean. The bathroom floor and tub had past customer's hair. The hot water was hot. Appliance mostly worked. The microwave had issue but worked. I did get 1st floor, as walking is difficult. Breakfast was refilled when items ran out. Only had slight issue with staffing. Check out doors were locked. 2 people behind desk. Had to talk thrunlittlebwindow. When asking for a reciept, I was told i would get reciept emailed. That never happened.

They say you get what you pay for. Well this experience was a lesson learned. The batheoom has mold in the ceilins,the light switch had mold growing on them luke hair on your head. The room smelled like an old ash tray. The bed covers had stains on them which should have been thrown away never to be used. Then to ad insult to injury they charged me for one night's stay. At this pint i didn't care just was inconvenient to have to find another place to stay. Buyer be wear. I think it also poses as an extended stay. Dude was smoking and i am not going to say but you know what. Smh

Cons: Outdated and run down. The wall surrounding the hotel had may spots pinches and kicked out. One section of the wall was completely kicked down. The wall is of two different materials. One side is plastic and another side of the outlying wall is wood, while a third side is a chained link fencing. The breakfast area is a room that is half used for breakfast and half used as a storage room with boxes lining the wall to the ceiling. Bacon was soft, very chewy, and floppy. I dared not try the eggs. Out of the 3 nights I was here, the cops had to be called by the hotel on two of those nights, bc of fighting in the parking lot and a random party in the parking lot with drugs and a man cooking hamburgers in his hotel room with a portable grill. Now my personal room. Constantly kept finding bugs in it during my stay. Black mold on lamp cover next to the tv. Crack in toilet with black stain in it. Microwave not cleaned out and still on “14 seconds” on timer from staff or previous guest usage. Bathtub had bugs in it and hair and what looked like tiny clumps of dirty spots grounded into the floor of the tub. Drain cover not stuck to tub. Bed sheets had cig burn holes in them even though this was a non smoking room & the bed cover had bleach spots on it. Walls are paper thin. I’m a heavy sleeper but I would be woken up at least 5 times a night from noises. Pros: it’s in midtown Savannah so it’s close to a lot of shops & restaurants. 15 minute drive to Tybee island!

There was nothing really to like. We had 2 rooms, both smelled like wet basements & cigarettes, one of the rooms had visible mold around the ceiling area. The toilet seat was discolored and had burn marks melted into the seat in one of the rooms. We got in so late that we didn’t have the energy to rebook. Someone left their lashes sitting on the sink and I guess housekeeping missed cleaning the sink counter that day. Staff was there when we checked in but either in a deep prayer drooling or just simply sleep and it took a few knocks on the window to make him aware that I was there… Lastly the furniture is nasty and needs to be thrown out and replaced. I think the chair in our room was supposed to be green but it was actually black/brownish due to probably 20yrs of use
