Top Scarborough Hotel Reviews

Palm Court Hotel
8/10 Good
"Positives Parking outside is great. Lovely room. Decent food. Good staff especially those waiting at breakfast. All accessible due to lift to all floors (a few stairs to get into the restaurant) Negatives Whilst there was a fan in the bedroom, it was very poor so the room was incredibly warm - we couldn’t open the windows sadly. There was only a small soap in the bathroom, just remember to take toiletries!"

Grand Hotel Scarborough

"the entertainment at night was great a bit cheese but great played bingo and the entertainment team were singing and dancing had a good time thankyou"

Delmont Hotel
8/10 Good
"When I arrived in Scarborough by train I used the Google maps on my phone to find this hotel since I wasn't sure where it's location was. Staff customer service skills were fantastic. There was a lift inside the hotel, which I only used twice. I wasn't a fan of that lift. On 19/6 when I first wanted to use it I was having a problem with getting the lift to work, a member of staff on the reception desk shown me how to close the lift door. I wasn't sure how to use the blind in my bathroom of my room, I tried a few times on my first night but gave up with it. There was a landline phone in my room but I never used it. There was no numbers to make contact with the staff downstairs even if I wanted to use that landline phone. The signal for listening to the radio through the TV wasn't the best. I didn't have any problems getting the shower to work. My room was spacious & very clean. The price of the beer at the hotel was a little bit over priced. There was a black box on the reception desk to put your key in when you check out"

Crown Spa Hotel Scarborough by Compass Hospitality

"Lovely friendly ,welcoming atmosphere on entering the hotel especially important for single guest."

The Clarence Gardens Hotel, BW Signature Collection
8/10 Good
"The hotel was perfect location for open air theatre 15 min stroll down the hill. Lovely decor in the hotel very clean and fresh looks like it’s had a recent refurbishment. Breakfast nearly perfect just a small recommendation to chef - just cook the sausages a little longer for that golden brown all over. Our only issue was the room was way too small felt a little cramped everywhere and I’m a big chap , felt a bit like a broom cupboard at the top of the hotel. Maybe next time we can be offered a larger room or better options in the booking process. So stay away from Room 34 if your of big build. Overall though very nice place"

The Royal Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely overnight stay staff very helpful and friendly breakfast excellent in all a great time ."

Albemarle Hotel
8/10 Good
"Considering what I paid I thought the hotel was very nice. I had a family room even though I was on my own (last minute availability) and it was lovely. The bed was comfy, there was a fan (it was a warm evening so this was appreciated), and even though I had booked a cheaper room without an en suite bathroom there were plenty of showers and toilets so I didn't have to stress. Jonathan was waiting for me on arrival even though I got there at 10pm, and he was very nice and helpful. I would recommend this hotel for a short stay - it's no frills but very nice and good value"

The Plough Scalby

"Really lovely stay at The Plough. Excellent food and excellent staff. Would certainly go again."

The Clifton Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We had a very small room but it had a sea view and we were only using it for after a concert at the open air theatre. It’s brilliantly located for that. The staff were friendly and efficient. I’d stay in this hotel again."
