"The room was very nice and comfortable . The view of the ocean was beautiful. Breakfast was great .The staff was very helpful especially Shawn . The only complaint I had was coffee or tea in the lobby was 2.00 a petty charge for a classy hotel. Any hotel we’ve stayed at that’s free"

"Location was excellent…right on the beach and central to the OBX. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the porch, watching the waves roll in and the dolphins swimming in the sunrise. Magical! The cottage is clean and updated in all the right ways while still keeping the cozy historic feeling. We really enjoyed the outdoor shower, too!"

"Had a relaxing week at the beach! Home was cozy and clean. Well stocked kitchen with everything we needed to cook all our meals. Loved to sit out in the screen porch for our dinner and no worries with our dog being that everything was fenced off so he could enjoy himself too! Access to the beach was just across the street and lots of beach chairs and umbrellas. Looking forward to our stay next summer!!! Definitely coming back "

"This house was phenomenal! Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom! Loved it! The location was great! Very easy walk to the beach to get sun, surf and see dolphins swim by. Short walk to Art's Place for a delicious breakfast. Loved the pool! Beautiful yard. Well stocked with everything (six blenders!). Boys loved the tiki bar upstairs with TV's, sound system, bar and ice maker (even a dishwasher up there!) It was a really great house and location! I will definitely be getting it for next year!"

"We had a wonderful vacation at OBX North Carolina. The house was in a perfect location to the beach. We enjoyed every morning watching the sunrise on shore and afternoons at the pool. Thank you for sharing your house with us."

"It was a nice place to stay overall. Just wished we knew there were narrow steps heading to the room at the back of the house. It was pretty clean, the ceiling fan wasin verge of falling off and noticed some tapes around it so we did not use the ceiling fan. It would of been nice to have working ceiling fan. The showwer glass barrier was wobbly and not secured so the water would drip out. The stairs walking up to the front door had nails popping out on it so be careful so you dont step on the nails that were sticking out. Most of them were on the side. But it was decent place to sleep over for few nights."
