Property exactly as show, very clean, new bright great backyard area. Not sure about the 5 min to beach,but not walking to. The property itself is lovely and yes conveniently located to all highways, just is on a busy street and area to be aware of.

Weekend in Monterey

Cute cottage! Clean and bright, and a good central location to enjoy the weekend in Monterey with easy access to activities and restaurants. Simple check-in and check-out with easy to follow instructions for the keypad door lock. Nice kitchen with plenty of dishes, glassware etc. Plenty of driveway parking, and the backyard with the fire pit is a great space to enjoy. Not a lot of extra room in the bedrooms if you have large suitcases but very comfortable. Great spot for a girls weekend or couples getaway!

Excellent property. Very clean, easy access. Convenient to Monterey and Carmel. Nice backyard to sit and enjoy the evening. Would recommend.

Super cute property, perfect for a weekend away. Great space mins to Monterey Bay Aquarium and great restaurants. Great backyard with picnic table and firepit. Gas to firepit was shut off at the meter the first night we arrived, with no instructions about how to turn it on that I could find, we tried to turn the local gas knob at the fire and light to no avail. Tried to assess with host (a management co) whether they could provide or point me to instructions on Friday night as I assumed something like this may be the case and they messaged they would send a technician the next day which identified the issue. Appreciated the help, but do wish they could have provided instructions the first night so we could use as we had really looked forward to it and only stayed two nights. Kitchen seemed well stocked from my quick peruse (blender, mixing bowls, measuring cups, etc) but we only ate out, had snacks, or takeout at the house so didn't test it out. Nice shower and small bath, worked great for us. Small living room, laundry in kitchen, and kids books available. Queen beds were fine, although wish there was an extra blanket in each bedroom and some for out back. We had brought a blanket in our car that I used to keep warm inorder to sit out back the first night and then ended up using that to sleep with at the start of the night before the room got hot. As an FYI on booking the mgmt company requested a lot of personal info to verify my identity and to sign add'l T&Cs.

Never again

The process to rent this charming little place is, unfortunately, ridiculous. They have an outfit called “Superhog” (sounds like a scam) doing a verification of every renter. You must send them a copy of very confidential info. Then the host “Grand Welcome”. Harassed us like hell to pay when in fact, we had already paid. Never again

Seaside Cottage

Well appointed cottage in Seaside, less than a mile from beautiful urban walking trails & ocean/beach access. Easy drive to Monterey as well. Found tons of delicious local eateries too. Had some trouble accessing property upon arrival, perhaps because we were 30 minutes early or because our welcome email had the incorrect code. Instructions were a little unclear, you have to use the back door. Property management company answered promptly and we got an updated code very quickly. Minor feedback but the water pressure in the only shower isn’t great for washing long hair & same with bathroom sink. Could also use more silverware but we just ran the dishwasher a couple times. Great to have off street parking & outdoor space is adorable. We were very comfortable here for a week. 💙☀️🌊
