Cozy getaway.

We enjoyed our stay at this home. My only complaint is there was a lot of road noise as it is on a busy road. That made it hard when trying to watch tv. It was much quieter in the two bedrooms, so that was a good thing, making it easy to sleep. The location was good in that it was close to Monterey, Pacific Grove and Carmel, where we visited often during our stay. It was about 1 hour to Pfeiffer beach in Big Sur. Our host was very accommodating, too, as we had to add 2 more days to our visit because we had a car breakdown and had to wait 1 day for the part to come in. It was a blessing that she did not have anybody else scheduled to come in for the next 2 days. The unit was very clean which is important to us both. The queen-sized bed was a bit soft for me as I believe it had a memory foam topper and there was a slope that made me roll into the middle. Memory foam mattresses or toppers really don't last long, about 18 months. If you are a back sleeper, that shouldn't be a problem. I just need more support.

Comfy place

Overall great place to stay. It wasn’t too far from the beach and a 12 minute ride to downtown Carmel. There a couple of great places to eat right down the street (Breakfast Club and The Meatery). If you wanted to cook at home they were setup for it. We just didn’t plan on staying in. However if you where therefor a longer stay it is setup for it.

Very clean & good value for the region

We (a family from Germany staying in the US for 5 weeks) stayed for 5 nights, and soon felt home. The cleanliness was immaculate, not even dust under the beds. The standard (kitchen, bathroom) is a bit older, but we‘ve had some newer hotels that were maintained and cleaned less, so it‘s definitely ok for a few days. The region (Monterey, 17 mile drive, Carmel, etc) is amazing. We would come again, thanks for the great time.

Great location for touring Big Sur, Carmel, and Monterey

Enjoyed having use of a kitchen as we like to prepare our own meals. One bedroom seems to have a full or double bed? while the other has two twin beds. Kitchen has an electric stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, and some other interesting appliances. I need to brush up on how to use an electric stove as one of the burners didn't turn on. Tanya was very nice about providing a replacement light bulb. Didn't notice the instructions on the refrigerator for wi-fi and trash until we were leaving. Perhaps need something with bold lettering? Comfortable, quiet and clean rental. Would highly recommend it.

Convenient home base

This rental worked out great for us during our quick family trip to Monterey Bay. It was convenient to all the attractions we wanted to visit and close to many family friendly food options. The property was spacious for our family of 3, comfortable, and easy to find. Check-in and check out were quick and easy. Tanya was a responsive and thoughtful host.

Comfort close to Monterey

My family and I were stopping in Monterey for a brief visit at the acquarium and stayed one night in this perefctly situated Seaside property. This property was perfectly located for all our needed provisions as we traveled up the coast for our tour around California. We appreciated the cleanliness, comfort, and overall hospitaliy provided by Tanya. She was always quick and gracious in her responses. Our only regret is that we did not spend more time in Seaside.
