Lovely Area

Ballard is charming, and the location of this basement apartment was excellent. Taking walks from here or an Uber to the train station was easy. The bedrooms of the home are good. The layout is odd, and the secondary bedroom is pretty far from the bathroom, which was not an issue for us, but might be for little kids.It was easy to check in. The hosts were very easy to reach, because they live upstairs.This is a basement apartment and the soundproofing between the floors is not what you might hope for.

The property was well worth the charge. The only problem we had was with the bathroom. The shower tub was elevated and extremely hard to get into what with us being elderly. We solved the problem by using a pot from the kitchen as a step. I would suggest the purchase of some type of step by the owners.Having a parking spot in Ballard was a luxury.The apartment was clean and well maintained.

Great location. Would/will definitely stay again. Property owners responded to questions promptly. The flat was clean and spacious. Only con, needed dish clothes and towels.

Week long vacation

This flat was so comfortable and very clean. It is located very convenient and easy to get to and from. I really liked that the front door has a motion sensor that would turn on as you approached the door.

Looking to stay in Ballard? This is IT!

We stayed in this comfortable apartment for a long weekend to visit family! We have stayed in many VRBO properties all over the world and this one was one of the cleanest and most comfortable places we’ve ever stayed! Ingrid and John were such gracious hosts! They made sure we had everything we needed and more! The location is fantastic and yes, very walkable to shops, restaurants and more. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will certainly come again! Thanks, Ingrid and John for providing such a perfect place to park while in Ballard!

Roomy, convenient place!

We had a delightful stay! This ground floor flat is spacious, with a big living room and--especially useful for parents with children--two separate bedrooms quite far apart from each other. The location is great, not far from Ballard businesses on one side and Shilshole (Ray's Boathouse, etc.) on the other. We met John, one of the owners, who was friendly and helpful. If we manage to return to Seattle, we'll try staying here again!

Great location, easy access

We had four adults, myself age 76, my wife 73, and my sister and brother-in-law ages 83 and 86. Everything was fine except the height of the tub made it very difficult for the octagenerians to get in

What a great spot right in Ballard!

Great neighborhood spot- 1/2 block to coffee, restaurants, and 15 minute walk to Sunset Park! Close to the Locks, downtown Ballard, Shilshole Bay, Fisherman's Terminal, etc. Nicely appointed and plenty of room for our family of 5. Off street parking right in front. Owners helpful, but not intrusive.

Wonderful place

The place was perfect for our visit to Seattle. Short distance from my son in Ballard. Waking distance to a charming local market. All the convenience we could want. The washer and dryer were a nice amenity. The weather was so beautiful, I hope you will consider adding some chairs outside, maybe on the side of the house, to enjoy sitting outside during the mornings and evenings. Would love to stay again on my next trip to Seattle.
