"Could not have asked for a better location close to Lake Sebago, the Causeway, and the Crooked River was right out the back door. The sand beach made launching my kayak quick and easy and my husband enjoyed fishing from the shore. The home was the prefect retreat after a day of fishing, kayaking, and exploring all Naples ME has to offer."

"Kyle was wonderful. Got back to us very quickly. This cottage was exactly as described. Very peaceful, and quiet. Was very nice sitting on the back porch overlooking the river. Was so nice being able to have our dogs with us. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook. Thanks, Kyle. We hope to make this place a yearly adventure."

"Before I address anything about our weeklong stay, I have to start with the unfortunate fact that we had 3 bat sightings in the house during the week we were there. We made the host aware. In hindsight, I suspect we should have left the house after one was first spotted flying around the hallway, but we didn't see them again until our last night there. I hope that the host has taken the expected measure to assure the house is now sealed up. If you see a bat in the house, you should leave and contact VRBO for advice.Other than that, the house was lovely. It has an old campy vibe with lots of great spaces for people to gather. We did puzzles on the screen porch, played ping pong and darts in the rec room, and spent a lot of time on the huge dock jumping into the lovely clear river. The water temperature was so much warmer than what we expected making it comfortable to swim all day.The kitchen was well stocked. The beds and lines were comfortable enough, but nothing luxurious. Since the house is right before the river lock, boats line up on the river next to the dock while they wait for the bridge and lock to open. There was a line most of the day on the weekend, but the weekdays were quieter. It didn't feel unsafe to swim since the boats were usually stationary while they waited. We really did love our time at the house. I think everyone learned a lot about bat safety from the experience."

"The house was cozy, comfortable and inviting, as well as exceptionally clean...everything we hoped for! The owners have thoughtfully labeled everything so there is no confusion as to what switch to turn on or off, or how all the amenities function. There is a great binder they have compiled that details just about anything you might have a question about! The location is great....close to restaurants, stores and many different activities to enjoy. Our only caveat is that the upstairs bedroom with the twin bed was not ideal for sleeping because of the summer heat! You will love your stay at this rental!!!"

"The cottage was exactly as advertised. Marie was a wonderful host. She got back to me very quickly when I messaged her. And when my daughter lost the keys to the property she was very kind and understanding and got me other copies of keys to the property. She was very friendly. We would love to stay again in the future!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this Sebago Lake property! The house was updated, clean, and stocked with just about everything we needed for a comfortable week.The location was excellent. It’s situated in a quiet cove with a private dock that was perfect for fishing. My son caught more fish than we could count right off the dock, which was definitely one of the highlights of our trip.While the Songo River isn’t ideal for swimming, the nearby sandbar is a fantastic spot to swim and relax. One thing to note is that the neighboring houses are fairly close together, but that’s pretty typical for homes located in these cove areas and wasn’t an issue for us.Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again!"
