「We very much enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. It was very clean and well-supplied. The view is unbeatable. For whoever stays in the upstairs room, be careful of the slanted low parts of the ceiling - it is easy to hit your head! Our checkout time was 9am - it would have been nice for a later time since we were requested to start a load of laundry, take trash out, etc. But overall, a lovely stay and would stay again!」

「We ended up finding this location at the very last minute. IT WAS PERFECT! There was a snafu with our VRBO reservation and we were unable to get in. Once we hopped onto Hotels.com and did a search for something a family of 5 could stay in near Bar Harbor during the busiest time for the area, this house in Acadia popped up. 「Myself, my parents, in laws, husband and two daughters all adored this property and our week in Blue Hill. The house is gorgeous with plenty of room for everyone - large spaces to be together and nooks and crannies for a private moment. The setting is spectacular - we launched kayaks right from the lawn and paddled to the Blue Hill rock to jump into the bay. The hosts truly thought of everything including beach chairs and towels, basics like laundry detergent, spices and olive oils and more. ...

「About 35 min from Acadia. Some good local restaurants. House clean, bedrooms warm though. Local grocery stores close by 7pm on Sunday FYI if you are coming in late. Quiet location.」

「This is such a unique property. The attitude and helpfulness of all the staff and the owners makes you feel like you have known them forever. The main house is open 24 hours for access to a full kitchen, living room, sitting room, office setup, laundry room and hot tub. There are snacks for guests (and their pups) out all the time, and a great fire pit with wood and fire starters which we used both nights of our stay. Property is an older site but insides are immaculate and cozily decorated.」

「Nice house, well stocked and furnished for a multi-family trip. Located right in the middle of the island and generally about 15 minutes or less from everything you want to do on the island. Nice fire pit, wooded surroundings, and playground. Might even look nicer in person than in the pictures. 「This was the first trip to Maine for myself my husband and our two children who are 8 and 10. We chose this location because of its proximity to Bar Harbor which was great. We could get into town and into Acadia easily but still be away from the crowds. Also loved that there were two restaurants right within walking distance and a great little coffee shop and general store as well as a gas station right outside of our doorstep. Loved waking up to water views from every window every morning....
