The room is clean and the staff are very helpful. However, the bathroom doesn’t have a shower curtain, so it gets quite wet after a shower. The room for four people is also a bit small.

Nous avons séjourné deux nuits. Nous avions volontairement pris une chambre plus grande pour 3 personnes afin d’avoir une grande chambre mais on nous a mis dans une petite chambre de 2 avec lits séparés. Lnequipe de l’hôtel a été très bien et nous a mis dans une autre chambre plus grande cette fois pour 5 personnes. Mais la chambre sentait fort l’humidité? La lumière extérieure reste allumée toute la nuit et comme les rideaux ne ferment pas bien cela a été gênant. Petit conseil il faudrait réparer la voiturée car quand il pleut c’est très bruyant. Sinon le lieu est sympa au calme et les épicées communes décorée avec goût. Je vous conseil de demander les chambres extérieures mais à l’étage au sous sol c’est moyen.

Terrible smell from heating and from bathroom, either mold or sewer gas. No Aurora wake up service. Concrete floors, walls, like a remodeled prison. No thermostat yet no screens on windows if you want any ventilation. Nice people though with great food places to visit recommendations

The is a charm to the property and the dining experience. The dogs and cat were a plus for our animal loving family. We initially reserved for 2 nights but had a change in flights and could only stay one night. While we knew it was non-refundable, there was no communication from the staff despite our messaging them ahead of time.

Der Duschboden im externen Haus verdient eine Renovierung, da das Wasser sich im gesamten Badezimmer verbreitet und der Kunde es in den Ablauf schieben muss. Zu Service und Sauberkeit: die Hunde von Gästen (nicht vom Besitzer) schnupperten ungehindert an den Buffets und erschreckten manche Gäste.

Eclectic style common areas with curiosities and a wide range of artworks; a bohemian vibe in the lounge and common dining areas whereas the bedrooms themselves were stylish modern and sleek. The contrast made it quirky and fun place to stay, great location for exploring the national park and visiting Gullfoss and Gysir

The host who greeted us and cooked dinner was so lovely and hospitable. We only took dinner the one night (but wish we had done both) because it was incredible and delicious! My fiancé and I stayed at this charming hotel during our trip to Iceland, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The location was perfect—close enough to the Golden Circle and southern Iceland's top attractions, making it easy to explore. The breakfast was delicious, and the chef was exceptionally kind, always making us feel welcome. The atmosphere was so cozy and inviting. Every night, we felt like we were returning to a peaceful retreat. One of the highlights was definitely seeing the Northern Lights from the backyard—such an unforgettable experience! And the pets! The hotel had both dogs and cats, but surprisingly, there was no pet smell at all. There was also adorable Icelandic horses that love pets in a short walking distance. It was incredibly clean, so you'd never know there were animals around, except for the adorable Mia, the best cat receptionist, who always greeted us with a warm and welcoming presence. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to experience Iceland in comfort and warmth!
