"We had the absolute pleasure of staying at this stunning accommodation in the heart of the Douro Valley, and it completely exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how immaculately clean and thoughtfully prepared the space was. Every room was spotless and beautifully designed, with every amenity we could have possibly needed—truly a home away from home.The kitchen was fully equipped, making it a joy to cook local meals and enjoy them while soaking in the spectacular surroundings. "Staff at the hotel were superb.. I read some of the comments about five star hotel in previous reviews while the hotel itself may not be a five-star the staff and the service is easily five-star… I laugh at some of the comments…. if you want little slippers and matching housecoat, look like a prince and princess, then go to Palace… the meals were suburban with the first class chef from Brazil… when I came to the restaurant bar you couldn’t want more for service and quality…. awesome place for a weekend getaway… so inconvenient to get to some of the winery for tastings, but make the best of it…."

"The views are unbelievably beautiful! I traveled with a friend and we had two units w/ balcony next to each other - perfect for us. Be prepared for driving on windy roads with tight turns, but definitely worth the drive. Katia was a wonderful hostess for breakfast, always with a kind word and a smile. "
