Beautiful cabin/location with lots & lots of room!!!

This is a gorgeous cabin in the woods where it's very quiet The beds were extremely comfortable and the living area/kitchen were HUGE!

Can’t wait to go back!

Our family had a great stay! There was a lot of entertainment in the cabin as well as outside to keep our small kids busy. The cabin is gorgeous and very clean! The owners did an excellent job with communication and quick responses to any questions we had. Thank you for having us, we hope to be back soon!

Fantastic Cabin

Loved the escape to the mountains! The cabin was fantastic and just far enough outside of town to enjoy the peaceful setting and everything the area offers.

Kiddos loved the house

Property was great and very clean. Loved the peacefulness of being away from the hustle and bustle. Kids love the arcade game and the fire pit area and hot tub.

Long weekend

Peaceful and quiet! Short mountain drive into Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge ,if the hustle and bustle is your thing. Driveway turn was pretty tight for our F-150 pickup. The kitchen was spacious and nicely stocked for cooking in, with large dining table and“overflow counter seating. We enjoyed the hot tub, cozy for 4 adults. Plenty of sleeping space for large family, though we found the mattresses to be a little firm for our liking. Wifi spotty depending on your carrier- half the group had no trouble the other half wasn’t as lucky.Hoat was attentive and communicated clearly. Would stay again if planning a trip to the area.

Rustic Beauty

Perfect cabin to stay for a short trip. Location was less than 20 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Living space and bedrooms are comfortable and spacious. Beautiful well-kept yard. The roads are very windy to get here, just be careful! Well worth the find to book, we would book here again if we come back!

The property was Excellent!! Very clean, spacious, modern and well kept. We specifically enjoyed the arcade game and pool table. The area was secluded and private, yet it was still close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We slept well.. occasional barking from the neighbor’s dogs, but wasn’t a problem for our family. Owners were great with communication through emails on the instructions of the property. Overall best vacation in years!! Will def rent again in the future!

Really nice cabin

Let me start off by saying this was our first time to Tennessee. We are from the corn fields of Nebraska and like our peacefulness. This was the reason for choosing this location and it did not disappoint. Upon arriving, the cabin was very clean an homey. There was 7 of us, 5 being teenagers. Everyone had their space and everyone was comfortable. We spent a lot of evenings just sitting on the front porch taking it all in. The roads are interesting and yes the driveway is rather steep but your a little ways in the country away from the noise of town so get out and enjoy it. We will definitely rent this cabin again when we come back.

Wonderful place to stay!!

We took a rental car from Knoxville airport. The drive was a little more than 1 hour. The directions supplied by owner were straightforward and easy to follow, included all multiple road names that GPS and Google had, and had specific instructions not to follow GPS directions on the last few miles because the shorter road had only one lane for both directions. We arrived after dark following the directions right to the front door. That was very easy. Gatlinburg with all attractions and hikes are nearby. We loved that cabin is very private and with beautiful surroundings and forest. We enjoyed time around fire in the evenings while waiting for BBQ at the outside grill. The whole house is beautifully decorated. It has many real paintings, unique custom made furniture, and nice floor coverings. We also enjoyed heated floor in the bathrooms. The house has plenty of room for all of us. Kitchen is big for all to sit, and for several people to move around at the same time. We found everything we needed in that kitchen. Outside Jacuzzi has room for 4 people or more J and it was very nice to be there at night after hikes.

True log cabin experience

We have travelled to meet with a group of friends at the cabin. Drove from Chicago. Should have followed the directions the owners provided, but we followed the GPS and that apparently made our trip a little longer. We stayed in the downstairs bedroom which allowed us to avoid using stairs much. Having connected bathroom is a big plus. We loved that it is true log cabin, wood everywhere, just like you imagine a real log cabin to be. It is apparemt that owners did not cut corners when finishing and decorating the cabin. The furniture is comfortable and sturdy, there are closets in the bedrooms, and kitchen is well stocked. One morning we all gathered around the island while one of us made and served pancakes for everyone. The kitchen is great! We used fireplace a lot because there was a cold snap in the beginning of November -it warms up the space pretty quick. The common area was big enough to accommodate our large and diverse group. We loved the wooded lot, and we all enjoyed the evening by the firepit. We took trips to Newfound Gap, downtown Gatlinburg, tasted moonshine, took Ober Gatlinburg Tram. Everything is within easy reach by paved road. Ask for directions if in doubt. Overall, true log cabin vacation experience.

Appalachian Escape

Overall impression: Excellent. Bit tricky to find at first but once you’ve been there you’ll remember. Driveway sneaks up on you so be alert. The roads are a bit curvy so drive slowly and carefully. Location is good…just far enough away to be away from all the touristy stuff…yet close enough when and if you want to go. The cabin itself is meticulous. Just like the pictures. It’s not for those that can’t climb stairs as two bedrooms are on the second level. The walkway up to the front door is a bit steep also. We’re a geriatric group though, so bit more difficult for us. One of the best things about the house is the upstairs jetted soaking bathtub….oh, and the hot tub out on the front porch. Two ways to really relax. The cabin is tucked nicely into the woods. The sounds of nature surround you and is music to your ears after a day in Pigeon Forge. Unfortunately, we did not get to use the fire pit but it is a beautiful little area to congregate. Our only complaint was not having a sports channel on the tv as we wanted to watch the World Series. It would be nice too, to have a movie channel (HBO, NETFLIX…) since commercials ruin the flow of a good movie. Yes, I would highly recommend the Appalachian Escape.

Perfect spot for a family getaway

Perfect spot for our family getaway! The pool table, cabin out back, arcade game, hot tub and large screen tv kept the kids entertained the whole time. It rained during our stay so we didn't get to make use of the fire pit, but hopefully next time! The California king bed in our bedroom was just what we need as we knew we'd have 2 little snugglers who'd want to be near us. The xtra large room with 2 big beds and 2 daybeds was perfect for my sister in laws family to all sleep together. Everything in the cabin is well maintained and looked attractive. I loved that the kitchen, dining area and great room are all open to each other with a big stone fireplace in the middle that heats all around. The high ceiling in the dining and kitchen made the space even bigger. The rockers on the front porch were great for morning tea. The xtra space outside for the kids to run and play was great! Didn't find that on many other rental options. We took a short drive into gatlinburg and took the kids gem mining and to the aquarium. The aquarium was packed due to the weather, but was still enjoyable. I'd even go as far as to say we would go to the aquarium again, that's how much our kids enjoyed it. And I'm not usually one to hit the same attraction over and over, I like to try NEW things. Gatlinburg was full of touristy shops and places to eat and treat. It was very busy despite the rain, but the crowds didn't really bother us. The cabin is also close to an arts community with many stores. We would have liked to have done more exploring there but we ran out of time. We had also hoped to hike in the national park, but the rain would have been too much for the kids, so hopefully next time! We would definitely stay here again!

The cabin was beautiful, with alot of attention to detail in every room and outside as well. We loved the privacy, enjoyed the hot tub, and the beds were super comfortable. The hosts were also quick to respond. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved this cabin! The location was perfect. I had searched through hundreds of cabins and this one checked all of the boxes. The driveway is steep but please remember you are in the mountains! I highly recommend this property.

Best vacation I ever had

The cabin was very clean, lots of room. The beds were comfy and we were close to all the attractions. It rained a couple of days, so we enjoyed the pool table and games that were in the cabin. Wonderful time!

Mountain Escape

Peaceful Mountain Cabin ! The cabin was exactly as described. It is a short drive to either Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg; exactly what we were looking for. The Hot Tub was used often after long days of hike & exploring. Beds were comfortable & kitchen area spacious. Wi-Fi in house was good but definitely set your next location/map before you leave the house. We had a great stay!
