Oliver Overlook – Stunning Mountain Views on Bluff Mountain

Perched atop Bluff Mountain with breathtaking views of Pigeon Forge and the Smokey Mountains, Oliver Overlook is a beautiful 2-bedroom, 2-bath cabin. Upon your arrival, you
will immediately feel right at home here! Snuggle by the wood-burning fireplace or unwind in the hot tub as you take in the scenery. From the deck, enjoy the gorgeous early morning sunrise, long-range mountain vistas, and the sparkling lights of Pigeon Forge at night—perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure.

Sleeping Arrangements: Oliver Overlook comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests. The main level has a queen bedroom. The loft features a king bedroom with its own private bathroom and a game room with a futton.

Location & Access: The cabin is easily accessible with only three steps to the front door. Conveniently located off Wears Valley Road, just 5 miles from Pigeon Forge, Oliver Overlook offers the perfect balance of seclusion and proximity to attractions, shopping, and dining.

Perfect For: A family vacation, a honeymoon, an anniversary, a girls getaway! Oliver Overlook is the ideal retreat to relax, recharge, and make lasting memories.

Things to Do Nearby: Dollywood, Splash Country,Dolly’s Stampede Dinner Show, The Smokey Mountain National Park, Cades Cove, zip line adventures, hiking, dining, shopping,
grocery stores.

Nearby Gatlinburg: Ripley’s Aquarium, the Sky-lift, MountainCoaster, Snow Skiing and Tubing.

Be Safe: Mountain roads can become hazardous or impassable in snow and ice. The last 1/4 mile to the cabin is a steep, curvy, one-lane, paved private road. Normally, a 2-wheel drive is sufficient, but inclement weather requires a 4-WHEEL/ALL-WHEEL DRIVE. In the winter, we highly recommend TRAVEL INSURANCE in case mountain roads are
impassable due to snow or ice.
BE AWARE- You are in Bear Country, do not feed bears or leave food in cars. Lock the car door.
BRING YOUR OWN - Charcoal for grilling and Firewood for the wood-burning fireplace in winter.
NO PETS - $300 fine and asked to leave
KEEP IN TOUCH - If you have any problem, let us know while you are there, we will try our best to solve it.
GUEST LIMIT- 6 Guests maximum, including children; if exceeded, the fine is $100 per guest.
VEHICLES - Motorcycles and trailers are not recommended or safe.
*4-WHEEL DRIVE AND TRAVEL INSURANCE ARE RECOMMENDED DURING WINTER MONTHS

The house was excellent! The explanation of the home and the drive was spot on. I got everything we wanted, from the views, to the hot tub, to the pool table, and plenty of room for our family of four. I will agree the reviews were spot on, there were lady bugs, and the water did smell like sulfur. The lady bugs weren’t the con, the sulfur smell was the only thing I didn’t care for. But also I wanted a home on the top of the mountain to escape the hustle and bustle, so it was expected. Overall, I would absolutely stay again!

Location, location, location is spectacular. The drive up is very steep but road is nicely paved. Cabin is well appointed and cozy. The water reeks of sulfur & a family of 5 ran out of hot water for showers. There is also a lady bug problem; they’re cute but not welcome. Overall, a great stay!

⸻The views were absolutely stunning. I spent every morning on the deck with my coffee, taking it all in—honestly the best way to start the day. We soaked in the hot tub and unwound all weekend. The cabin is about 15 minutes from the Parkway in Pigeon Forge, which made getting around super easy. Overall, we had a wonderful, relaxing stay.

This is a rustic and cozy cabin way up a steep mountain road. We were able to navigate the roads with a regular non-4WD vehicle. The view from the deck is awesome! Tons of trees and you see the lights of Pigeon Forge at night. Gorgeous sunrises. The hot tub was perfect; we enjoyed it every evening of our stay. The beds were comfortable and having two bathrooms was very convenient. Lots of cookware and cooking items, so we were able to make all sorts of things. There is no grill or outdoor cooking. The only thing to be aware of is that there are an abundance of ladybugs outside and some inside the property. They didn’t bother us; we just tossed them out the door as we saw them. But if you’re bothered by little ladybugs, it’s something to keep in mind. Highly recommended overall, and we’d stay here again.

The cabin is in a nice area close to the parkway but away enough to get a beautiful view. The floors could use some updating and need a way to keep all the lady bugs out of the cabin. Water is a little smelly but it was a nice place. We did have some trouble getting in the room but was able to call the management and get it resolved quickly! Overall, I would stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The view was excellent. The hot tub was also nice. The house was clean and comfortable. The downstairs bathroom tub faucet was a little lose, but other than that everything went smoothly. I will say that if it is raining and you don't have 4 wheel drive you might not make it up the next to the last hill. We spun our wheels when it rained but finally made it up. I had new tires and only front wheel drive. I will definitely love to go again.

Cabin was very clean and the view was spectacular. The water stunk like rotten eggs, contacted the property manager and maintenance was sent out the next day. It was better the second day but the smell came back. The mattresses are very hard and uncomfortable. I've never stayed in a cabin with the deck open like this one was. We were very uneasy when we sat outside knowing that anything could walk up on us.

We had a wonderful time at Oliver Outlook! We were in town for a wedding at The Trillium Venue and took the opportunity to do some sightseeing in the area. The views from the cabin were absolutely breathtaking — truly one of the highlights of our trip.The drive up is steep, so we definitely recommend arriving during daylight hours the first time. The cabin itself was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the hot tub was amazing — the perfect way to relax and take in the scenery. It was also very quiet and peaceful, which made for a relaxing stay.On our last day, we had a surprise visit from a bear, but it quickly moved on after seeing us. Just a reminder that you’re in the mountains and surrounded by nature!Overall, we loved our stay and would absolutely recommend Oliver Outlook to anyone looking for a beautiful, serene mountain getaway.
