PET FRIENDLY! Amazing Mountain Views! Hot Tub, Pool Table, Gas grill, and quiet.

  • We love pets! The cabin is perched on the side of Hatcher Mountain about one mile from Wears Valley Rd on a paved county road. From the windows, you face Cove Mountain in Wears Valley and the Smoky Mountains. Enjoy the privacy of our place. Currently , there is only one cabin to the left of our cabin. To the right, 2 are being built and 2 are already finished. It is located close to the Smoky Mountains National Park, Pigeon Forge (9 miles), and Gatlinburg (18 miles). There are 3 bedrooms, one in the loft, one on the main level, and one in the basement. The loft and main level each have a queen sized bed. The basement bedroom has queen over a queen bunk bed and a sofa sleeper in the large game room. Each level has a full bathroom. Also in the loft is an office equipped with a desk, TV and bean bag chairs. A washer and dryer is located on the main level with a half bath. The living and dining area on the main level allows you to enjoy the awesome view through an entire wall of windows. If you get tired of the view, the living area has comfortable seating to enjoy the gas fireplace, reading, or the flat screen TV. Cabin is equipped with high speed internet. Besides a bedroom and bathroom, the downstairs level includes a pool table, game table, and TV. On the main level there are decks on either side of the house to enjoy the views, relax in the hot tub, eat your meals on the outdoor table, or cook on the gas grill. There is a concrete patio on the basement level to enjoy the sunset. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal for your family and friends.

    There is ample parking for 3-5 cars or a few cars and a boat or a small trailer.
    Pet fee: 2 small dogs-$100 or 1 medium to large dog $100

    Medium 40-60 pounds, Large any dog over 60 pounds
    No cats
    Please keep dogs off of the furniture and beds. Please clean up after your dog if it goes in the yard.

    If you have a large group and need two cabins nearby, there is a rental cabin next door to our cabin called 'A Sight to See' that is listed though our Co-Hosts!

This was a great property--off the beaten path from the main strip so it was the perfect getaway. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. It was an incredible stay.

Beautiful cabin with amazing views. Great location being close enough to surrounding area attractions, but removed enough to feel like a retreat. Also enjoy the fact that the cabin is pet friendly so fur babies can join the family trip, too. Lastly, the surrounding nature and critters are amazing. Lots of adult and baby bear sightings each time we have visited.

The location of the property was close to all of the Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge activities. It was very quiet. One day we saw a red tailed hawk. The views were beautiful. The whole experience was relaxing. The extra touches to make our pet feel comfortable were appreciated. We will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful experience! Host was available to answer any questions we had, place was clean and had everything we needed, with absolutely gorgeous views!!! We did get to see some bears and other wildlife, wanted to mention for future guests that the bears normally pass by between 12 and 1 pm. Construction workers next door said they have a den below! Would definitely stay again!!

This was an excellent cabin away from the cluster of the city but only 10 minutes to Pigeon Forge. We saw 2 different momma bears with cubs right from the house. One had 4 cubs and one had 3 cubs! It was very peaceful and relaxing. The view right out the living room window was amazing! It was only minutes from the national park! I would highly recommend the stay!

This was the perfect house to stay in for our Smoky Mountains trip! The house was clean and well equipped with everything you need to enjoy a home away from home. When we did have a question about an item Sean was very quick to respond and make sure we had everything we needed. We really took advantage of the hot tub after the long hikes every day and enjoyed playing pool every night. The cabin feels secluded yet very accessible to everything. We loved having our coffee on the porch every morning enjoying the view and the wildlife. We even had a bear visit! We will definitely stay here again next time we come!

We had an amazing stay, such a beautiful cabin and away from the madness of Gatlinburg. We had everything we needed and the cabin was nearly new. The views of Wears Valley were amazing. Very comfortable and well equipped for a great family getaway.

Great Mountain Getaway

This was a great getaway with easy access to all things in the area. We loved Wears Valley and its laid back style. The house was just what we were looking for for a family vacation.
