Great cabin, could use blow dryer, faster wifi, and TV's. The beds are comfortable, the cabin was very clean.

Terrible stay

The house smelled moldy, especially the bedrooms. It bothered all of us causing breathing issues and itchy eyes. We killed 18-20 wasps... About 15 of those were red paper wasps. There was no broom to clean up the many, many asian beetles that died each night. There was a confederate flag sign on the house when we arrived. I contacted customer service right away and they told me they would have the local team reach out right away. It took two full days for someone to finally contact us back. When we did finally hear back, she told me that she would have pest control contact us and come up. Of course we didn't hear anything and didn't see pest control. The mattresses are so uncomfortable. The floor in the family room has a hump in it middle of it. Every cabinet is crammed full of junky plates, cups, bowls, and serving platters leaving no room at all to store food that we brought. It was just not a nice house at all and the local mgmt team was not responsive at all.

The Moose Cabin

The AC works great. The property had a musty smell. The furniture and decorations are outdated at best. The living room furniture was stained and had tears in them. The master bed was comfortable. The bunk beds might as well not even had a mattress. We didn’t spend much time there other than sleeping. So I guess we got what we paid for. Definitely will not choose this location again. VRBO will still be our go to when traveling. One bad decision on our part is not going to change that. Overall rating would be a C-.
