Summary:
The Carver's House is a historic residence the was owed and originally crafted by the famous local artist Dale Gillespi, now Newly Renovated. Situated less than a quarter mile off of the spur in the heart of the Smokies you will not find a more unique overnight experience such as this in the Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.
The Space:
Throughout this unique space, you will find detail after detail after detail you will enjoy cathedral ceilings, daylight led lighting, lots of cedar finishes, pine shiplap ceilings and many more modern touches.
The space has 2 equally great bedrooms for guests both with Queen size beds, tv's, usb charging stations, luggage racks and a place to hang your clothes.
The house also hosts what we call the bunk room where you can fit a couple of more guests (kids) on an airbed with some sleeping bags that we provide. This room also hosts the laundry room with stackable washer and dryer as well as the gaming system (Xbox 360 Kinect) where you can have a dance-off competition or even get in a UFC workout or Zumba session.
The space has 1 1/2 bathrooms one with a big walk-in shower, we provide the hair and body wash.
The space also boasts of a comfy living room with a wood burning fireplace, a fully stocked kitchen with a Keurig and Ninja blender, a 12 foot concrete bar and island.
The grounds also have a fire pit, hot tub, and campsite grill for you to enjoy during your stay.
Guest Access:
The property is arranged over two levels, each featuring its own driveway, entrance, and amenities. 'The Carver's House' is situated on the lower level, where it has full access to all the amenities available on these grounds i.e. fire pit, hot tub, grill
The Neighborhood:
The neighborhood is situated in the heart of the Smokies just a quarter mile of the spur just minutes from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The neighborhood host a collection of overnight properties and private residences. The property is easily accessible in most weather.
Getting Around:
You will need a car to get around the Smokies for the most part, but if you so choose the Great Smoky Mountain Welcome Center and trolley stop is just under a mile away.
Other Things to Note:
Access to Carver's House is secured by a door code. Prior to your stay, we'll forward you the code, along with a link to our Rental Agreement. Please make a point to e-sign this document before your arrival to ensure smooth access.

*Special Note: Carver's House is a distinctive property nestled in the Smoky Mountains amidst dense tree cover. Some guests might occasionally encounter power outages, diminished wifi signals, or TV disruptions during inclement weather.
Note that we have just recently added StarLink for internet which has eliminated most if not all of our internet outages and given us 100x performance over what we had available to us prior to StarLink.
Interaction with Guests:
99% of the time my wife and I are available to our guests to handle any need. We only live a short drive away from the cabin and we also have several resources in the area to meet any need that may arise.
