⭐️⭐️Here Are A Few Kind Words From Our Past Guests:⭐️⭐️
"Very nice cabin! We loved the location because it was private and close enough to the surrounding towns. In my opinion, it is the best space for two persons!"
"What a great place to enjoy a quiet evening. We wanted a night away to ourselves with our busy an hectic lives. This place suited us just perfect. Hot tub and a quiet evening replenished our souls. Directions were easy to follow and everything was superb."
"This was a great place to stay! It’s not to far from town but it’s also not right in front of everybody else’s house. I loved the view and the complimentary items they had to start you off! There is one house on the road there on but they never bothered us. This was by far our favorite air b&b yet! Loved the hot tub, pool table, games and huge Tv! My husband and I really enjoyed it! It was a very peaceful and relaxing!"
"The cabin was in a quiet, secluded, beautiful area and very neat and clean. Wonderful experience!"
"The host and the cabin is excellent. The cabin is the perfect size for a couple on a honeymoon, or an anniversary vacation or just get-a-way destination. It is in the perfect location and close to everything you would want to do in the area! Me and my wife will definitely be staying again! Keep up the good work and God bless!"

Please check out all our properties in our profile as we have cabins of all different sizes and amenities to suit your needs.

SOME THINGS TO NOTE: - The driveway to the cabin is a semi-steep, one-way drive. The easiest way is to actually go up the way with the "EXIT" sign as that will take you directly to the cabin. If you go to the entrance the GPS will take you to, you will just have to do a multi-point turn halfway up (you'll see a sign with arrow saying Deerly Beloved, the previous name of the cabin). Either way is totally fine, it's just easier to go the "EXIT" way the first time you arrive. That part is steep looking at first, but after you go up the first time it's a breeze!
- There is no designated parking off the private road/driveway, but you can park on the road directly in front of the cabin as you'll be the only ones accessing that part of the road/drive.
- The dishwasher is a bit noisy. It is normal and works fine, but it's a small cabin so best to turn it on before you leave if possible.
- The cabin has well water and when using the hot water it can sometimes have a sulfur smell/taste. This is normal and harmless. The water is drinkable, but we still recommend using the filtered water from the kitchen faucet.
- Fireplace is electric powered and is typically shut off between March/April and October/November.
- This is the mountains and WiFi and cell phone service can sometimes be spotty and lose service. If the internet does go out, try resetting the router (plugged in behind the washer/dryer) first. We highly recommend you download maps of the area offline prior to arriving.
- This is in the forests and mountains and you will likely see bugs, mice, or furry critters (including bears!). We do maintain the property with regular pest control, but due to the surroundings, or if doors are left open, or food is left outside the house, this can attract critters.
- There are no refunds for storms or power outages. If there is a power outage, there will be no water and potentially no heat. Storms can also make roads impassable, so if a storm is in the forecast during your reservation, come prepared with water and non-perishable food, etc.
- PLEASE NOTE: Fall/Winter is ladybug season in the Smokies and these little buggers are attracted to heat, meaning your cabin and every other one out there that is warm! They will swarm to the cabin and you'll probably see them alive/dead on windowsills, in vents, etc. Rest assured that your cabin has regular pest control and is professionally cleaned, including bug removal, before and after your stay. However, these bugs come back right away and unfortunately there is nothing that can be done about them until the season passes.

Once you get used to driveway it’s a beautiful/easy stay! The water does have a slight smell/slick feel to it but we just bought some gallons of drinking water. The stay felt quaint and cozy. Would love to stay again!

This cabin is a wonderful place to stay! So beautiful and so cozy. Very neat and clean. Perfect home away from home! If you’re looking for a cozy peaceful getaway, this IS IT. The views are spectacular. Close to town but far enough away to get away from the hustle and bustle. I will be staying there again with my family next time! Don’t miss out!

Cale's cabin is a repeat! The place is a labor of love and is kept well too. We enjoyed it so much. He also made himself available answering all of our questions before, during, and after. Recommended!

Between the sewage smell and sulfur smell and having to turn around in Neighbor’s driveway that was filled with 40 yards of trash. The place wasn’t that bad, however we can only stay one night out of two

DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU WANT A VIEW. The pictures show a slight view however in spring and summer you only see foliage. This was not our first choice the cabin that I booked was apparently double booked so they offered this cabin instead.
We arrived after a backpacking trip and were expecting to use the hot tub to ease our body aches and relax. We arrived a little after 4pm which is check in and the hot tub was ice cold. The owners were responsive and stated that they drain the tub after every rental which is great however a hot tub takes a whole day to heat up so we were unable to use the hot tub until the following night when it reached temp. The TVs are great and you have access to Netflix however the night we arrived the sound bar was not working and it was past hours to reach out to the owners so we spent 2 + hours trying to get it to work which we eventually did and had no issues the rest of the trip. The king size bed was a seller for us as my husband moves alot and we prefer a king like we have at home but IT IS FIRM! the sheets feel like paper and the comforter is a rough quilt style comforter. There is only 1 chair on the porch and the instructions ask you to not move furniture around so I thankfully had my kayak chair to sit outside with my husband while we grilled. They charge you 175 for a cleaning fee and the instructions they send you say it is your responsibility to load and run the dishwasher(the dishes from the last visitor were still in the dishwasher when our stay started)take the trash out and pick up. Meaning the cleaner drains the hot tub washes the linen and sweeps the floors but not under the bed ( we tend to keep our bags under the bed so they are out of the way and allow a clean area when pulling our bags out there was dust and hair / bugs on them. We stayed here for my husband's birthday and while we enjoyed our getaway it did not meet our expectations. We were 30 mins from pigeon forge and hour from gatlinburg there are NO HIKES near the cabin and nowhere to walk around the cabin kind of a bummer. Overall the cabin was fine it served it's purpose it could have been more comfortable but beggers can't be choosers the hosts are very friendly and responsive during business hours. For the money I was spending and previous experiences traveling I was let down however it was a nice place. It is secluded and while there is a road below and neighbors there isn't much traffic and you don't see the people.

This was a nice small cabin that has the proximity for Lake Douglas where you can fish and also hike. Also, a very short drive to Pigeon Forge, Dollywood and Gatlinburg. Very nice hosts with great communication. Be sure to be comfortable driving up a cliff so I would probably recommend not renting during inclement weather. Several small and quick fixes to the cabin itself would give the cabin more comfort and convenience (more comfortable mattress/ sticky gate latch/ uncomfortable lighting) and earn it a 5 star rating. Cabin offers a spacious porch with BBQ, comfortable jacuzzi and great views. (Hawks nest nearby). Overall, a great home base to enjoy all the amenities that the Smokey Mountain region has to offer.
