Nice Cabin, Need to Work on Cleanliness
From the start, we had issues.
- Check in was at 4pm and cleaners did not leave until 4:35pm.
From pre-check in emails they mentioned "We have an amazing cleaning crew...", I have to disagree with them.
- Immediately noticed the living room carpet did not look like it had been vacuumed. We were able to find a vacuum and do it ourselves.
- There was a pile of dog poop directly in front of the door when going to the outside balcony from the living room. I almost stepped on it. My husband had to dispose of it. Later that night, we noticed a second poop that was more out of the way that we just left there. This showed me that nobody went on the balcony or checked the hot tub.
- Light bulb out on one side of the balcony which made it very dark in the evening.
- Although we did not have a baby with us, the high chair had food all over it, so obviously not wiped down.
- The downstairs sleeper sofa when opened was stained and full of debris. One of the upstairs sleeper sofas was also dirty with debris. There was only linens for the downstairs sleeper sofa. There were no linens for the upstairs sleeper sofas. There were also no blankets anywhere in the cabin. How can you say you sleep 12 and not have at least one blanket for each of the sleeper sofas.
I will say Justin was responsive, and someone did drop off linens around 1am, but still no blankets. It was in the 30's while we were there.
- Easy upstairs fireplace, great game room, nice views, spacious.
