I almost never write a review but thought I should on this one. The hotel was very clean and in overall good condition. The big negatives were the bed was like sleeping on the floor! So if you have back issues like we do you sure won’t feel very good in the morning. Also breakfast is from 6am-9am a bit to early on a Sunday morning or for anyone arriving late the night before or after not sleeping because of the concrete beds!!

When I booked our stay, I was happy to see the pool area and looked forward to using it. The pool area was pretty gross. The water was not cold but it was not hot. It was like bath water but not in a good way. Additionally, the water was very cloudy and had a strong smell of chlorine. The water was also just gross feeling on your skin. I could not wait to shower. The front desk staff was not the friendliest-there was a sign that stated if you needed assistance to call. During check out, I called and the man working the desk was in the office with the door locked. He made it seem like an inconvenience when he had to come to the desk. He did not offer me a receipt for my stay or anything. Did not even ask my room number.

The pool was out of service and apparently has been for quite some time. Breakfast looked like leftovers. There may have been enough food there for six people… Maybe. Broken coffee machine, stale bread. Empty cereal containers. And milk that I think was going off. The place was old and not in great shape, but there were signs that they were working on improvements. They should replace the beds first thing. You can feel the springs through the mattress.

The staff was very friendly and gave us their menu for the pizza place across the street! Was walking distance to a pizza place, subway and DQ. The room and lobby was clean. The pool area could have been cleaner but the water was warm and the kids had fun! Breakfast was good. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Property is dirty and rundown. Pool was not as advertised, spa tub did not work. Rooms were dirty, found pubic hairs in the tub. Very few options on the breakfast table and not well stocked. We ate breakfast both mornings elsewhere!!

Ok. But probably won’t return.
The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately the bathroom had pubic hair not cleaned from previous guest. Some of the furniture had some big stains on them (not too bad, but noticeable). The hallway on the second floor stunk of smoke. Would be nice to have a smoking floor, no smoking, or the rooms grouped together. Having them mixed doesn’t seem to be a good idea.

Overall, not a bad choice for hotels... Unfortunately, it's a little rough around the edges ... I think they were in the process of remodeling and so they put me in a wing of the hotel where the elevator didn't work and then they weren't finished with cleaning my room from the previous occupant ... Thankfully the hotel clerk was able to put me in a different room with a jacuzzi tub which was a nice gesture ... They took care of me but I thought the hotel needs a lot of work to be ready for more customers when it gets busy ...

This property responded quickly to my request for a pet-friendly room and for late arrival. However, the bad overwhelming negates that good. The outside temp was 27 degrees and the room was freezing cold - no heat running even at 60 degrees or so upon arrival. Continental breakfast the next morning had 1 cereal option, no milk or juice available, 6 small containers of yogurt, no fruit, and no staff either at front desk or servicing the food area for cleaning or replenishment.

Other than letting breakfast run out at 8 a.m. and not replenishing the eggs and sausage and walking through cigarette butts where the desk men was smoking the stay was ok. The pool was nice but the jets were not working so it wasn't want we expected.

My husband and I travel a lot- we’re used to staying in hotels that are a bit run down. We don’t like dirty rooms, but we don’t expect them to be perfect by any means and are not people to complain. If the black mold wasn’t an issue in this room, we wouldn’t have complained about the piece of sausage on the floor, beer bottle, popcorn, hair in the bed, dirty sheets, and bad smell. That being said, this hotel was horrendous. We found significant amounts of black mold all over the bathroom. It was everywhere.The shower, the sink was completely filled with it, the towels had mold growing on them. It was not only disgusting, but a HUGE health risk. In case you are unfamiliar with the risks of exposure to black mold, here are a few: respiratory issues, infection, memory loss etc. Exposure to black mold is extremely dangerous. As soon as my husband and I noticed the mold, we brought the issue to the attention of the front desk employee. He obviously knew the risks associated with mold as he began profusely apologizing and was visibly worried. He first offered us a new room. My husband went to check on the room and found the same mold as well as I giant black footprint on the sheets. He then offered us a third room which also had the black mold in the bathroom. At this point it was after 3AM and we had nowhere else to go so we had to stay in the third room. We have been declined a refund and the hotel manger declined to speak about it. This place was absolutely horrid.
