We're sorry you didn't see the details about no creamer in your confirmation materials. The options we have to provide creamer are either chemicals in the form of powder or mini-moos. We don't like to indulge in chemicals or single-use plastics, which makes giving creamer a challenge. Since we supply refrigerators in all our units, we hope that guests that use dairy in their coffee will travel with what they need.

We are so appreciative of your feedback! Our View Nest room is a lower level water-view room and the rockers in that room are new. We're happy to hear you found them comfortable. We are off the beaten path which is why there aren't typically any places to eat nearby. In the summer there is usually a coffee shop at the corner of Beach Drive and Border Avenue. Sometimes there's a food truck down there as well. Unfortunately, in 2021 it didn't open till late summer. Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience!

Thank you so much for staying with us. We are sorry for any confusion regarding our animal policy. We do not offer reservations for animas through hotels.com. When you initially informed us you were traveling with an animal, we were told it was a service animal. You disputed the stated fees because it was an ADA animal. We’re sorry about any misunderstanding about traveling with an “emotional support” animal. Emotional support animals do not qualify for exemption or coverage under ADA service classification. Because our property is “allergy friendly” even service animals must pay a service fee to stay with us because special cleaning becomes required. We’re grateful you brought this issue to our attention. We have clarified our animal policy to make it clearer for folks traveling with animals. We apologize for not being able to clarify the situation with your animal prior to arrival —we didn’t receive the documentation about it being an emotional support animal until you checked in. We are sorry we had to trouble you during your stay with the news that the emotional support animal would not qualify for the fees to be waived. Our other rooms and individual cabins are larger and more comfortable for more extended visits. We're glad to hear you'd stay again if you get this way! We'd love to have you return! Thanks again!

You were in the Heron View, which we agree is a small room. It’s an ideal room for a short stay and best if you are a light packer. Thank you so much for your post! So others will know, you stayed in our Heron Roost building, the 4-plex that overlooks our waterfront cabins. We're so glad you enjoyed the amenities of that building! There's a large BBQ grill as well. And as you mention, we are close to town, just 3 miles away. Thanks for chosing us as your lodging provider while you visited the Kenai Fjords National Park! We always recommend that guests stay at least three nights in the Seward area so you can visit the National Park from land (Exit Glacier) as well as take advantage of the many other things there are to do and see in the area! We hope you'll come for a return visit!!
