"The home is an absolute dream! It felt like I was sharing all of the nostalgia of visiting my grandparents' home as a child with my 21-year old son. He was taken aback with the history and splendor of it all. The record player and broad collection of vinyls were an unexpected delight, providing hours of entertainment while we relaxed as a family in the parlor. The fact that this home and all its interiors are made available for anyone to enjoy is truly a gift!The house is clean, the beds are impressively comfortable, and the upgraded HVAC systems allowed for complete comfort inside. It is well appointed with everything we needed to feel like a home away from home. I highly recommend dining at Othello less than a block away from the house, shopping for groceries & staples at Springfield Superette two blocks away, and exploring the revitalized Springfield Main Street district for food, entertainment & shops, also within walking district. Melody was very welcoming and responsive, and we can't thank her enough for providing this unexpected, added joy to our Jacksonville trip! "

"This is a beautiful place in a very cool historic district. We really enjoyed our stay. The house was extremely clean and well equipped and the beds were very comfortable and it has great water pressure Jose Cuervo lives next-door, which is kind of cool. "
