"Our room was ready for check-in rm 122. The shut window let alot of noise in from busy road. Pillows arent the comfiest. The breakfast was good, nice selection, hot english breakfast and tasty crispy bacon. My night was disturbed at 1.30am-2.30am by noisy guests slamming door and arguing loudly so it disturbed my sleep and didnt then feel safe. The car park is £5 surcharge which should just be added to the hotel booking cost as where else does one park! Location is good, near to spa and decent restaurants."

"It's a lovely lodge, clean and well-appointed. We greatly appreciated a bottle of Prosecco, cake, bread, milk, and tea and coffee-making facilities. The location is fantastic, quite rural but nearby towns are not far away and there is a garden centre within walking distance which has a cafe/restaurant. The grounds are kept very neat and tidy, and text messages from the staff to check that all was well were also appreciated. If you like swimming, a sauna, or an exercise place there is a building on-site which you can pay for separately. A very enjoyable stay with lots of walks and activities nearby. I would love to come again but stay longer next time."
