「The host was very accomodating and even greeted me even though I arrived late. The stay was very relaxing with a great bed that made it hard to wake up in the morning. They thought of everything when it comes to a long term or even short term stay including needs for a pup if you forgot something. The best part for someone traveling with their pup as I was, is that the entire front area is fenced. I greatly appreciated the level accommodations. 」

「The grounds were beautiful! We loved the waterfall and stream! There were wild blackberries along the trail to the waterfall. The owner was friendly and accommodated us when we had to extend our stay due to car trouble. There are several cool projects he's working on. We would definitely stay here again. 」

「Yes, Janet was welcoming. She inquired after our check in and a couple of other times to see if we needed anything. The unit should be improved in these ways: 1. The HVAC should be separate from the house. Although a space heater was provided, it blew the circuit. Janet asked if we would reset the breaker at the outside panel. After that, we relied on heat from the rest of the house, but it was often too hot at night. I didn't feel comfortable sending the host a text whenever the temperature...

「We absolutely loved our stay at Bigfoot Lodging Cottage #2 It’s a very authentic cabin in the woods experience. The original vintage wood interior and squeaky wood floors added a lot to the ambiance. Plenty of outdoor space for grilling steaks or making campfire s’mores.
