「We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Shepherdstown property. The home was spacious, clean, and provided plenty of room to relax and unwind. Its location was excellent—close to Shepherdstown's charming downtown area, where we enjoyed exploring the local shops, restaurants, and historic character of the town. The property was also conveniently located near several historical sites and scenic walking trails, making it easy to enjoy the area's rich history and natural beauty. 「The house was not clean. Surfaces were sticky, dishes in the cupboard were dirty, the shower had not been cleaned, the toilet was broken, much of the furniture was unstable, including the beds, one of which had a loose pillar, the other with a headboard that was not attached to anything. The entrance through the carport was dangerous and ill-smelling. There was no functioning key to the front door, so entrance had to be made through the carport every time. In the horse bedroom, there was one...

「It was a wonderful place to stay!! The house was clean and neat. The host was great to communicate with and did so in a timely manner. It was a great area to visit!!」

「We loved the quiet property. So relaxing and the train theme was great!!! While there was just the 2 of us, it would be a great place for a family, too!」

「Very clean Very convenient Very nice stay」

「This was a great place for our visit to Harpers Ferry. It was very spacious, secluded, and had all the amenities you would need. Highly recommend!」

「Greetings & salutations,This is my 1st VRBO booking and there were no surprises other than, how big and fully stocked the kitchen was! The pictures do the place justice, great mattresses on all the beds. Great fire pit and decks. We ran out of Body wash and before you know it, Door dash dropped some off (thank you Beth!!)Definitely like being at a nice hotel, no stripping of beds, just run the dishwasher and take out the trash. Us old retired guys will be back next year for sure, thanks, RC」

「The weather played havoc with our Memorial Day weekend plans, but we still managed to have a great time. We ended up spending far more time in the Robin’s Nest than originally planned, so I feel confident in saying it was a comfortable home away from home for us. We made a couple of meals and streamed some movies on the smart TV, but mostly we lounged around when we weren’t out seeing the soggy sights.」

「A very fine house perfect for 6 people. Kitchen nicely provisioned with all the essentials. Nice covered deck and parking for one car at the house. Excellent location near Harper’s Ferry and surrounding towns. Recommended.」

「Was nice place」

「Our stay was so enjoyable!」

「Christie is very easy to work! The property is beautiful and the rental is just perfect for 2 people. 」

「We were looking forward to our first visit to Harpers Ferry, unfortunately we left early. The house was clean but, the windows have only sheets curtains, therefore at night there’s no privacy, anyone can see you from the road. Also some windows don’t lock. We did receive 100.00 back towards the night we didn’t used.」

「This is once again a terrible experience using a VRBO listing. We were contacted a few minutes to check-in that the cleaning staff were not done and ready for us to occupy. This was awful because we had been out and about all day and needed to clean up and freshen up because we had a show to attend in Shepherdstown at 5:30 pm. I told the contact we did not care if cleaning people were there we needed to get in at 4pm as promised and we would be gone in 40 minutes!!! but we need to get ready!...

「The house was wonderful with everything you would need for a stay. It was located perfectly for walking in town. We could not be happier with our accommodations. Great house, great location, great experience. Highly recommended.」

「!」

「Beautiful setting and a well and thoughtfully appointed home. An aside but helpful tip is that there are not any nearby convenience stores if you forget a little something, so come prepared. The space is comfortable and fun and the view is fantastic, the location is convenient for a lot of local attractions and activities, but we also would have been content to just hang at the house! A very relaxing vibe. We would definitely stay again, and would hopefully share with friends and family, the...
