"Rooms were very clean, everything we needed was ready for us, our special requests were attended to immediately. We used the gym daily and the equipment/machines were all clean and in great condition. We had many questions regarding places to visit and car charters, Freddy at the concierge was very helpful, knowledgeable, and thorough. Happy with the place and appreciate the service. Will be back."

"The host was very helpful in arranging a car to pick us up from the airport. Communication was clear throughout our stay, and they were very responsive when we asked to borrow an iron/steamer. The unit had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen for cooking, as well as a dishwasher and a washer/dryer, which made our stay even more convenient. The location is excellent, with grocery stores, restaurants, and cafés all within walking distance. It also has direct access to the metro through the basement, where you'll find plenty of restaurants along the way. Highly recommended!"

"This is one of the best hotels I have stayed at. Pretty much everything is perfect and cant say I would change a single thing. 2 weddings went thru in the 3 days I was there. If ladies choose that place for their special day you know its good!!!"

"If you’re booking this place for an amazing room with an amazing view and a bath tub by the window you will not be disappointed. If you are booking this for the pool area, don’t get your hopes up, it feels more like a public bath house than a luxury hotel pool, similar feel with the spa. The overall hotel and rooms are nice, I just felt like they needed a deep clean and a bit of TLC, grouting etc. light switches and AC seemed to have a mind of their own and didn’t always respond to pressing the light switches. I loved staying here, but that’s my constructive criticism. It misses a few of those tick boxes that take it upto being a world class hotel. More of an Instagram hotel that looks great for the pictures"
Novotel Shanghai Atlantis

"The hotel itself was well kept, tidy and in a “quiet” part of town. The revolving top floor buffet breakfast was fantastic. All the weird and wonderful Asian delicacies as well as every western staple you could want all with a spectacular revolving 360 degree view of Shanghai. The inside pool was everything that was required as had the gym. The rooms were clean, tidy, well stocked but albeit a bit dated. It was very quiet and had blackout curtains. The WiFi worked well. The hotel had a couple of floors of restaurants as well as an adjoined supermarket. The surrounding area felt very safe and there were at least 3 metro stops within 5 mins walk. There were a number of restaurants and shops in the area both family run and a couple of chains. We would recommend Novotel Shanghai Atlantis as a great place to stay whilst in Shanghai and we will certainly look to stay there next time we visit Shanghai."

"Location is pretty good - a few minutes’ walk to the metro station (needing to cross one street only but block is long). There is a nice park nearby but site has a gym. The room is clean though somewhat small. The only criticism is that the shower is a somewhat open concept in that the sliding sanded door needs to be closed if want privacy. And the light shines through the sanded pane if someone is using the washroom or shower. The best part of the stay is the breakfast, which has many varieties and has good quality. Staff is helpful. The front entrance is a busy road so watch for your taxi or booked Didi to wave them down. Similarly they may miss the entrance if dropping off so need to let them know."
