With current uncertainty of future Stay Home Stay Safe orders we are asking all guests to either purchase the travel insurance or be prepared to reschedule their stay if they must cancel due to COVID. Our zero refund cancelation policy will continue as stated in our rental agreement.

If a guest is diagnosed with or notified that they are a direct contact to COVID and your stay is scheduled within the quarantine period we ask that you notify us immediately to change your dates. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN.

This is the PERFECT location with quick access to everything the area has to offer. Enjoy snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice climbing and ice fishing in the winter; hiking, ATVing, mountain biking, swimming, beaching, fishing and kayaking/canoeing in the summer. There is plenty to do in the area and the Log Cabin Crew is ALWAYS happy to help you out!

The Log Cabin Retreat is surrounded by 20 acres of private, wooded property. Luxuriate in solitude or enjoy Munising – your choice! The conveniences of town are just a short (10 minute) drive away. The famous Bear Trap Inn (restaurant and bar) is just 1/4 of a mile down the road: Our guests have always loved this place. Kewadin Casino in Christmas, MI is about a 20 minutes’ drive.

The cabin is quaint enough for one family, yet accommodating enough to comfortably host larger parties of up to 16. There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms on the basement and main floor levels, plus a loft.

Park your snowmobile trailers and trucks in the large driveway – there's tons of space to pull in and pull out (no need to back up). Stoke up the fire and relax. Imbibe at the bar. Take in forest and wildlife views from the comfort of the deck. Cook up a feast on the gas grill. Roast marshmallows and enjoy each other's company around the fire.

The cabin is yours to enjoy during your stay. There’s plenty of room here to do what you like. Make memories; do things your way. The kitchen is fully stocked. The living room is plush. The basement is fully furnished; laid-back. All bedding, bath towels and toiletries are included.
