The location was fine for getting into Munising for restaurants, grocery store, and boating to Pictured Rocks National Lake Shore. It was also reasonable for hikes near the National Lake Shore. The house was very well stocked with kitchen needs and games. Lots of bedding to be able to set up more sleeping than we needed for five of us.

decent place near trail head

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Decent place near trail head. Lots of construction debris laying around the property. Also it states that there is a gas grill with propane provided but there wasn't. There was a charcoal grill but no charcoal. Additionally the mini split air-conditioning does not work very well.

The air conditioning did not work while we were there. While I can understand that that this was unexpected, I did not appreciate the fact that there was no compensation that was offered, especially since the maintenance person said he was going to let the office know the situation so they could determine the appropriate compensation.

Great location for a week at Pictured Rocks. House was very spacious for 4 adults and 3 kids. The listing is accurate and this was a good central spot for our daily excursions. The host was quite responsive to our questions. WiFi was excellent and the kitchen worked well.

Family visit to Pictured Rocks

House had all the amenities we needed. It was clean and comfortable. We had two families, so the separate “wings” of bedrooms/bathrooms were nice. Town is very small but close to Munising. It’s a great home base for Pictured Rock hikes. Would stay again!

UP Fall Getaway

The house was very clean and very well stocked. The kitchen had everything we needed. The king bed was really comfortable. The smart tv was a plus so we could watch our regular programs. It was easy to find in a very quiet neighborhood. The house is big enough to handle large groups and still give everyone their own privacy/space. I can't think of one single negative! We would definitely stay there again in the future.
