“The room was advertised to have a private hot tub--not! It was a restricted-access, scheduled-use hot tub--no thanks. The room was small, with quirky heating and cooling systems. A vanity in the bathroom was provided as the only clothing storage solution, although there were hooks on the wall for hanging clothes. If you were housed in their annex (I would call it), you had to carry your belongings from the parking lot across the lawn and then scale a small grass-covered slope and step up……

“GPS doesn’t work well to the address. Bridge is under construction that requires a major detour. Not the owners fault but he could provide more details on how to navigate to property. The remoteness is beautiful, peaceful and very private. Wi-Fi works very well at the property for texting and internet connection but couldn’t get thru with cell calls.”

“Everything was great”

“Terrible experience! Dirty and falling apart. From the parking lot to the bathroom to the sheets. Everything was in poor condition. The photos on Expedia are not at all representative of the current state of this hotel! After an exhaustive drive I checked in, saw the room and after about 5 minutes had to book another nearby hotel. I don’t even know where to start but let’s say there are far better options in the area for not much more money!”

“Rooms were in need of up keep, under cupboard microwave was covered with grease from stove top. no light in kitchen area. Mattresses slip off platform bed. nearest ice maker broke. Had to make ice in ice trays in fridge,. Pictures are decieving be aware....”

“Beautiful and serene property. We enjoyed interacting with the animals and being provided food to feed them. The house is immaculately clean and beautifully furnished. Wood and fire starters were provided for the fire pit, which was peaceful to sit at during the night. I highly recommend this location to stay for a get away.”

“Everything was clean and felt homey. Location is close to town and businesses. Loved the additional touches such as toiletries and games. 10/10 all the way around.”

“方便”

“Room was on the smaller side but had everything I needed for work. WiFi in public areas was stable enough to get some emails done without issues.”

“We were pleasantly surprised after booking this room last minute to find such a lovely property. It is convenient to the Allegheny River Trail and has a winery, pizza shop and restaurant right by on property. Loved the beautiful view of the river, comfy beds and the Keurig coffee in room as well as a continental breakfast included.”

“Amazing cabin, authentic tree post construction and shingles, with a replica child’s log cabin playhouse. The property was private and spacious inside and out. We had 6 big bodied males and a few dogs with us and never felt cramped. I will be looking to book again for the next bird hunting trip.”

“The property is truly an old farmhouse with some charm, but unfortunately, our experience was disappointing due to several maintenance issues. The first night, a breaker tripped with the space heaters plugged in. There is no other heat upstairs, and the heaters are plugged into extension cords running through the upstairs. When we arrived, one bedroom had no working lights, and my elderly parents had to pull their king-size bed away from the wall just to plug in two lamps. The second day, after……

“Beds were comfortable without extra features or fussiness.”

“We had a great time. It was nice and quiet. And we loved Charlie, he came over for breakfast!!!”
