「I cannot recommend this place more for anyone wanting to stay in Mt Barker. I spent close to a month in the cottage for work and Peggy was incredible with communication and making sure I was looked after. The house is great, modern amenities, everything you need, and comfort but with the original cottage charm. What’s even better is it’s pet friendly, my dog loved the big backyard and was even friends with the neighbours by the end of our stay. If you’re looking for a stay in Barker this is it! 」

「The retreat is a complete house with wooden floor boards and full kitchen and laundry.It is set on a farm at the back of a small avocado orchard and fresh eggs and avocados were provided.The host also provides almost everything you can imagine including cereal in the pantry.Due to the location you wake up with lowing cow noises and birds chirping in the morning and the wrens trying to get in the windows :-)」
