The lodging itself is a beautiful traditional house with nice common spaces, including a kitchen. It's close to a bus stop and walkable to all the sites in the Guningtou area. The room was clean, had nice decorations, and a super comfortable bed. Breakfast was amazing! Highly recommend, and I'll definitely stay there again myself. "

There was no laundry facility, the pictures showed a bathroom facility that was much nicer than ours, there was no staff on site when we arrived, and the first day we were there, there was no hot water for showers, until they turned the heater back on."

"Not a good experience at all. To start the wifi info is not posted anywhere at all, meaning you are stranded if you don't have a sim. Further, the rooms are not marked with the numbers and the owner is nowhere around. If it weren't for my taxi driver calling the owner and me exploring the building I would not have known which room was mine. I had to find the neighbors to get them to call the owner for me to get the wifi password. The water never truly got hot enough to bathe, and there was a...
