"We came in the winter on the week of a big storm. There was a lot of snow but it was beautiful! The house in a great spot with lots of trees around The host was very helpful in making sure that we were safe with all of the snow. There were lots of games and puzzles. It was a great place to be cozy and enjoy the snow! We would definitely come again! "

It works well for a family getaway, but there are some important things to know:Pros:-Spacious layout for groups-Beautiful location-Fair price for the sizeCons / Things to Be Aware Of:-No Wi-Fi (this should be made very clear in the listing)-Very limited TV channels and no streaming capability-Central heat does not work (fireplace and space heaters are provided, but it takes time to warm up—approximately 24 hours)-Could use a more thorough cleaningOverall, this is a good option if you’re prepared and for a more unplugged, rustic stay and understand the trade-offs."
