Gem in Siesta Keys

Had a great stay at Gertrude rentals. Literally one block from the beach! Walk to town. Lots to do. Could not be happier. The house was immaculate and plenty of space for all of us. Thank you for making our stay wonderful.

Perfect beach get away

The description of the property was perfect. Once you park, no need to use your car again. Plenty of beach gear to use, free trolly system, and it really was about 150 steps to the beach. We had a perfect time.

Fun, fun, fun

First time to stay so close to the beach. Everyone said it was so nice to be able to come and go all day. The wagon and chairs were well used. Elevator came in handy in loading and unloading the car, otherwise, we used the stairs. Loved being able to see the beach from the balcony with my cup of coffee. Any questions we had were quickly answered during our stay :)

The Perfect Girls Trip

The perfect home for a first trip! The home has everything you need, you will never want to leave. The beach is right across the street, close to Downtown Sarasota and walking distance to the Village. We had the best time, we will be back!

Spring Break

We hosted Spring Break for our daughter and several of her friends. We loved this location. We were in the middle of everything—the walk to the village was so easy, we were only steps to the beach, and the place was clean and spacious. We will definitely be back!

Great location

My family agrees this was the best vacation rentals we stayed in. We had everything we needed for our stay at the house. Everything we needed for the beach. Such a short walk to the beach. It was great to have the elevator for my parents who are elderly and it was nice to use when taking loads of stuff up and down the stairs.

Siesta Key Long Weekend

We rented Gertrude 3BR home for 5 nights. I have to say, the house rental was completely spectacular. Very clean and well appointed with amenities. The best part was all the beach gear and wagons to be able to set up at the short walk to the beach. The shared pool with the home next door was great also. I would highly recommend Gertrude rentals and highly recommend Siesta Key as a destination.

Fabulous Family Getaway

We wanted to get away just for the weekend driving up from Miami. This place was amazing. The house was beautiful, clean, and had all the amenities you needed included all the things for the beach which was a huge bonus for us. This is walking distance to such a beautiful white sandy beach. Having access to the pool was a treat for us also. Would love to come back again in the near future.

Amazing Family Vacation Home

The home, its location, amenities and the availability of the owner to answer any question, made this rental one of the best we have ever stayed at. I couldn't recommend it enough! We had asked for 2 pack and plays and 2 high chairs and they were there on our arrival. The toys, the bicycles, the wagons, the beach chairs, the fire pit and the heated pool all add up to an amazing holiday!

Family Vacation

We booked this location so that we would be close to the beach. 150 steps gets you to the edge leading to the beach. We had someone with us that had difficulty walking so it was not as close as we had hoped. The beach and location is beautiful though, so if you can walk the extra steps will worth the walk. The beach did have a beach wheelchair available so we utilized that. The condo had a lot of beach chairs and toys available.

This beautiful beach home had it all for 6 of us—beach chairs, umbrellas, bikes, cooler, swimming pool, beach towels, and even an elevator! Very clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable beds, and a kitchen that was well stocked with dishes and cookware to cook, and eat in if you want but it's located close enough to walk to the village for live music and great food and drinks! Located in a quiet neighborhood across the street from the beach! This place is going to rent out quickly—don't miss a chance to enjoy it for yourself!

Family vacay

We had an amazing family Vacation !! Your place is homey , great beach view , easy access to all needs !! So thankful for the pack and play and high chair as well And to not have a laundry list of things to do prior to check out .. and to be able to have a leisure cup of coffee and a stroll on the beach as we enjoy the last moments of vacation. ..is the icing on the cake ! We will look forward to booking a week ( or maybe 2!!) next year
