The property was very clean and well maintained. Lou, the property owner was very helpful to us when our trip was delayed by a day with a cancelled flight and in giving tips on getting over to the beach by the property. If you love to fish, you will enjoy the property’s private pier Inlet that the unit overlooks. There were always people on iit enjoying themselves. We were there at a very busy spring break time and avoided downtown Siesta Key like the plague after driving to in our first night. We went to Sarasota instead -only 15 minutes away and had a wonderful dinner./walked around. Siesta Key Beach is just superb but it is across the street from the unit with limited public access points that were crowded with people /cars and took longer than it would normally take to get to but keep in mind we were there during a peak week. We managed to cut through some of the private properties to the beach right by the property where there was still plenty of room
On the beach to not feel like a sardine. However, it was still not direct access and we are beach people but we certainly knew that before we booked. If one wasn’t going at a prime time, i am sure that the Siesta Key public access sites would have been as easy as described and accessible. We did see the free trolley that went along the shore road. However, there are tons of beaches in the area and the unit and our trip was great overall.
