This is a smoke-free home. No smoking of any substance, including vaping. Smoking is allowed outside only. Please keep the property clean and tidy during your stay. An additional cleaning fee may be charged if the property is left excessively dirty. Please remember to turn off all lights, lock all doors and windows before leaving the property. We understand that sometimes accidents happen! Should you break anything, please let us know. Please do not take blankets, sheets or bath towels from the house to the beach. Please keep all garbage and recycling inside the provided totes during your stay. Please do not tamper with any of the pool/spa heating or filtering equipment.
RESPECT OUR NEIGHBORS PLEASE, QUIET TIME BEGINS AT 10PM. IT IS PERFECTLY FINE TO BE OUTSIDE HAVING A CONVERSATION, BUT NO LOUD MUSIC, SHOUTING, ETC.
Exterior Landscaping lights come on automatically at dusk and shut off at dawn. The pool lights are controlled by a small white remote in the master bedroom window by the closet. Please do not leave pool lights on during the day. Never remove the pool light remote from its location.
GARBAGE/RECYCLE cans at the end of the driveway must be out by 7AM on MONDAY morning. Please be so kind as to put it by the road at the south end of the Driveway. As our designated pick up day is midweek, we thank you in advance for having to move someone else’s garbage as they will be doing the same favor for you the following stay. Please face the open lid side toward the street and have them approximately three feet off the road and separated by THREE feet each. The truck is automated so they are a little militant on this!
The golf cart and a sea kayak in the garage ARE NOT FOR GUEST USE AND ARE NOT INSURED FOR ANY GUEST USAGE. GOLF CARTS AND BIKE RENTALS ARE AVAILABLE IN THE VILLAGE. THERE MAY ALSO BE A VEHICLE OR TWO IN THE CRUSHED SHELL DRIVEWAY. THESE ARE PERSONAL VEHICLES.
THE MAIN PAVER DRIVEWAY IS ENTIRELY FOR YOUR USE DURING THE STAY AND FITS 4 VEHICLES COMFORTABLY. THERE IS ALSO A SMALL CRUSHED SHELL SECTION BY THE FRONT DOOR THAT MAY BE USED AS WELL FOR BIKES, GOLF CART RENTAL, ETC.
THE garage refrigerator IS ONLY FOR HOMEOWNER USAGE. THERE ARE ALSO A FEW GRAY BASKETS ON THE UPPER SHELF IN THE MASTER CLOSET THAT CONTAIN SOME OWNER ITEMS. THEY ARE OUT OF YOUR WAY. THERE ARE TWO LOWER DRAWERS IN THE MASTER BATHROOM THAT ALSO CONTAIN SOME OWNERS ITEMS.
ALWAYS PUT ALL GARBAGE CANS AND RECYCLING BIN OUT AT END OF DRIVEWAY UPON DEPARTURE, REGARDLESS OF DEPARTURE DAY.
NO PARKING ON LAWN EVER. *PLEASE NOTE WE DO KEEP A VEHICLE HERE IT MAY BE IN THE CLAMSHELL DRIVE.*

The pool is set to cycle throughout 24 hours. The Pool temp is set to 82.
DEPENDING ON PUMP CYCLES THERE MAY BE A FLUCTUATION OF SEVERAL DEGREES BASED ON COOLER NIGHTS.
PLEASE LEAVE THE HOSE WHERE IT IS FOR POOL REFILL, THERE IS AN AUTOMATIC FILL CONTROL. IF YOU NEED TO WASH OFF SAND, SIMPLY PRESS THE BUTTON ON THE UNIT TO TURN ON, PRESS AGAIN TO TURN OFF, RETURN HOSE TO WHERE YOU FOUND IT. DO NOT SHUT OFF THE WATER AT THE FAUCET (IT IS THE RED HANDLE AND SHOULD REMAIN IN THE OPEN POSITION).
Please feel free to use the skimmer net to remove any leaves, etc during your stay. The pool is serviced every Thursday around mid morning.
THE POOL TV MUST BE COVERED EVERY NIGHT. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE IT EXPOSED. YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN A POP UP SHOWER OR STORM MAY HAPPEN.

Please ensure all doors and windows are closed and locked upon exit of your stay. Please also ensure all pots and pans have been put away. Please make sure you run the last load in the dishwasher as you leave as well. Please leave all towels and bedding in the laundry basket/floor located on the top floor near the washer/dryer. If you could be so kind as to start at least one load of laundry upon your departure that would be greatly appreciated.
Please make sure ALL thermostats are set to 76 degrees upon departure. There is a Thermostat on the main level, a thermostat on the top level at the top of the stairs and a remote for the basement unit. NEVER PUT UNITS LOWER THAN 72 DEGREES AS THEY CAN FREEZE WITH OUR SEASONAL HIGH HUMIDITY.
We also ask that you do not leave any pamphlets, brochures, or magazines behind as well. We try to keep the house fairly clutter free for guests.
Please make sure you also pick up any outside debris (plates, cups, etc).
