“We love staying here after sightseeing around Shawnee!”

“We were there to attend a wedding so weren’t there much. We did observe there was trash left on the deck and lower deck could have used a good sweeping and cob webs removed. Pillows could also be upgraded. Might want to work on front screen door. Very, very squeaky coming in and out. Over all it met the needs we required for our stay. Thanks for being quick to return our calls”

“If you’re looking for peace and quiet you found it. I sat out on the porch and just looked at the pond. Turned off the cell relaxed and enjoyed the view. The host was very accommodating. The home look just like the pictures and when I arrived the air conditioning was going which was great when your from California and not used to the hot sticky summers in Southern Illinois.”

“Very cozy and clean. The beds are very comfortable, there were plenty of spare linens and towels, a large variety of kitchen items and everything functioned properly. It’s only a minute or two drive to the lake.”

“Property was great for my family of four. Plenty of room and very clean. We had a great time while staying.”

“Host was able to book us at the last minute which we appreciate. Love the lake front home. We were able to do some fishing off the dock and enjoy a campfire. Home was lovely and spacious. Host was extremely responsive.”

“Beautiful log home. The view of the lake couldn’t be better. Be aware that there are many, many steps to the water, but they are not steep. We are over 70 years old and were able to handle them, although we can feel it in our calves today. It was a plus to have the electric hot water pot. My husband likes his coffee in the morning, but I prefer tea. Perfect for us!”

“Very peaceful and relaxing area, loved sitting on porch watching the barges go by.”

“Very nice house and a very nice lake.”

“Our family enjoyed this cozy home and enjoyed all the offerings! Loved watching the sunset and all the wildlife! Will definately return!”

“Great”

“We decided to book this place because it was close to Garden of The Gods, and it was available at a great price. The view of the Ohio River was amazing. The host was friendly, and the room was clean. The only issue we had was the doorknob to the bathroom would stick, making it a little difficult to get out of the bathroom.”

“Great space, easy lake access. Might need to go back when the weather is warmer. ”

“Very nice property, quite, clean and the pool and deck are awesome!!! My family and I had a great relaxing time, I will definitely consider going back and recommend it if you like relaxing and swimming fun!!!”
