This place is beautifully maintained, quiet, peaceful yet close to many of the Tuscany hill towns. Fabrizio is charming and accomodates any of your requests. Sunrise and full moon were equally spectacular. Will definitely stay again when I return to Toscanna!!!

This is a beautiful Tuscan home! Peaceful setting away from towns, breathtaking views, and gorgeous inside and out. I can't say enough about how much we loved staying here. Our host went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our vacation, he even would drop us off/pick us up from the train station.

Our stay at Il Poggio dell'Eremita was nothing short of magical! Its a beautifully appointed home, very clean and comfortable! The location is breathtaking, surrounded by mountains, olive groves and ancient walled cities. Our hosts were gracious and kind, available to answer questions, but also allowed privacy. Fabrizio went above and beyond to help us with a car issue, essentially making it a non-problem. Tranquil, peaceful, beautiful and convenient to many places of interest, I could not give a higher endorsement. We hope for the opportunity to return again to this amazing place!

Peaceful Getaway

Located in a peaceful location, the house is charming and homey. The hosts are very kind and accommodating, and we had a wonderful stay. The view from the bedroom balcony is spectacular.

The perfect place to stay for our time in Tuscany! Fabrizio was a warm and friendly host! We absolutely loved the house and gardens! We enjoyed exploring the hillside town nearby! It was conveniently located for exploring northern Tuscany.

Charming Place in Tuscany

Great place with beautiful views. Nikola was a wonderful host and told us many places to visit around the area. If you are visiting Tuscany I would recommend staying at this lovely place.

The most amazing garden getaway

Stayed here for five days recuperating from busy days in Rome. The garden was absolutely spectacular so quiet and quaint beautiful Italian love spending time in the comfortable chairs making home cooked dinner having wine visiting with Orchard cats as they cruise through the property. The host was unbelievably kind and generous loved the option of being able to purchase wine on the property without having to go into town. Speaking of town is about a 10 minute drive away Several cute places to eat and grocery stores. A fantastic little place in the middle of the country side centrally locatedcould not recommend this more. Cannot wait to come back again!!!

lovely villa

Fabrizio's place is just gorgeous. When we arrived, he gave us a detailed tour of the gardens and house, both of which are beautiful and have all conveniences. We enjoyed walking to the small and lovely town of Farnatella, and driving a few minutes to the gorgeous Lucignano. While he and his wife do live in the downstairs of the house, they have a separate entrance and were respectful of our privacy while we were there. I hope to return for a longer stay!

Perfect Tuscany Experience

This Tuscany gem was perfect, every aspect. Our host was very friendly and helpful. The view from our balcony patio was absolutely breath taking. I would recommend this location to anyone hoping to be fully immersed in a Tuscan experience!

Beautiful stay

We received a warm welcome from the family and a thorough explanation of the facilities, the surrounding area and places of interest. Fabrizio communicated easily with us using the translation phone app. The apartment is very clean, well equipped and offers a genuine Italian experience. Simply wonderful.

Amazing Villa in the Heart of Tuscany

The host was very welcoming upon arrival and gave us a great tour of the property along with some area history. Such a peaceful setting. Really enjoyed the patio upstairs off the bedroom. Great views of the terrain by day and fantastic views of the stars at night. Very close to the enchanting villages on hilltops nearby (Rigamagno and Scrofiano).

Perfect spot close to so many towns (Pienza, Montepulciano, Siena)

We absolutely loved our stay! Fabrizio was a wonderful host, he met us outside and showed us where to park. Gave us a brief history of the house and quick tour. He recommended an amazing local restaurant and quaint little town to visit, Lucignano, that you can see up on the hill from the house. Hardest part about the stay is deciding which towns to visit!

Perfect Villa in Tuscany!

We absolutely loved our time in Fabrizio’s Tuscan villa. It was beautifully situated among an olive grove and we loved sitting out in the outdoor area enjoying a glass of wine. The local restaurant had incredible pizza and homemade pasta. Fabrizio was a gracious host who made himself available when we needed and was very accommodating. We will definitely be coming g back!

We would recommend this VRBO to anyone seeking relaxation and a great location from which to explore Tuscany. The apartment itself is carefully decorated with top-line fittings throughout and appears exactly as pictured. The wine for purchase on site is a nice touch. Fabrizio was delightful and welcoming. The grounds are beautiful and fun to explore.

Fabrizio was a great host, house exceeded our expectations. Secluded, quiet BUT Sinalunga was close by for supplies. Siena was 30 minutes away. In the close by village of Rigomagno was a restaurant called Scroccazuche (suggested by our host)...it was some of the finest food we have EVER eaten

The current pictures do not do the property justice! We were greeted by Fabrizio and made to feel at home. Kitchen was well equipped (just need your own spices). Close to all the towns and villages we wanted to see. This property is beautifully decorated and the grounds are just as pretty. Would recommend this property!!!

Idyllic stay in Tuscany

Wonderful hosts, cottage, and location in a peaceful olive grove setting. We confused our check-our day, and the hosts were very gracious with us despite our error and late check-out. The house is fully stocked with wine and refreshments for purchase. It’s a charming location centrally located to the best of what Tuscany has to offer. Highly recommend! ❤️

Beautiful hidden gem

It was so special, Frabrizio greets you and is so welcoming and proud of his home. The pictures do not do it justice. More beautiful and quaint in person. See the sunrise come up over Tuscany from your bedroom. Every detail was taken care of, the grounds the gardens are immaculate and beautiful. We traveled all over Tuscany. Could not have picked a better olace.

Best Vacation Ever

This was truly a once in a lifetime experience. We were lost getting there, but Fabrizio was quick to respond to my text and guided us. Fabulous place

The owner, Fabrizio, was so charming. He doesn't speak any English, but he has Google Translate down. This house is more beautiful than the photos show. The grounds are immaculate & we were told that we could use any of the herbs growing in the garden. We made 2 dinners while we were there and the kitchen is well equipped to cook in. There are no spices, so you have to bring your own. The location is in the country, but you can get to many Tuscan villages in a short amount of time. If we return to Tuscany, we will stay here again.

The Perfect Tuscan Retreat

From the moment that we arrived, each day was a gift. The beautiful villa situated amongst the olive groves was beyond our expectations. From exploring the gorgeous grounds to the fabulous view from the upstairs balcony situated off the Primary suite, we were tempted never to leave this expeptional property. We were welcomed by our host's, Fabrizio and Paula who generously shared tid bits of info about the region which were invaluable to our overall experience. The nearby town has the most amazing restaurant that we frequented and that we also selfishly indulged in for take away to enjoy in the beautiful sunrooom for a romantic dinner for two. Oh, and as an added bonus, the hen on the property just might lay an egg or two for breakfast!! We highly recommend this gorgeous villa. Magical Oasis in the heart of Tuscany

Right from the moment we arrived, Fabrizio was the most gracious, warm and welcoming host. We were tempted to record his uniquely charming welcome! The villa is even better than the photos! Fabrizio doesn’t speak English but communicates in all languages easily with a translation app., and his son is available and very responsive if you want someone to communicate with in English. Fabrizio provided an excellent selection of local wines on site at extremely reasonable prices. Every one we tried was great. Great restaurant with the best pizza in Italy 5 min drive away. Hard to mention all of the pluses: a different terrace for every time of the day, including a jaw dropping view from the BR terrace, patio with grill & fresh herbs to pick, absolutely beautiful gardens full of olive trees, jasmine, giant rosemary bushes, artichokes, strawberry lined pathways…, soft marble floor throughout (cooling and great underfoot), comfortable bed & linens…and did we mention the view? Many distant Tuscan hill towns visible including Cortona. We were sad to leave and would love to return someday!! Grazie mil Fabrizio & familia!!
