Located on the upper floor and accessed via an external staircase, La Casina di Sopra (upstairs house) features a kitchenette, refrigerator, bathroom with shower, a brass double bed and a sofa bed in a separate room for an additional guest, all set against the backdrop of magnificent sunsets.
Your apartment is an integral part of Casa Ezio Marchi (the birthplace of the zootechnician Ezio Marchi), and it is an ancient property that once also housed a Chianina cattle stable. The villa has been recently restored according to principles of bio-sustainable architecture and offers peace and greenery while remaining close to major road links, making it ideal for exploring Tuscany, Umbria, and Lazio.
The villa is located on a quiet cul-de-sac just outside the historic centre of Bettolle, with views stretching over Bettolle, Cortona, Montepulciano, Montefollonico, and the Cetona and Amiata mountains. Surrounded by olive trees, fig trees, and cypresses, there is no shortage of green space and open air.
Guests may enjoy a 6-metre-diameter above-ground swimming pool. A natural salt-water swimming pond is currently under construction.
The property is also equipped with an EV charging station for electric cars, where you can recharge your vehicle at competitive rates.
Breakfast is available on request at €10 per person.
Three adorable Jack Russell dogs and a few cats also live on the property.
Casa Ezio Marchi can arrange for you and your group:

- Cooking classes (fresh pasta) including the meal at €100 per person
