Front desk staff lacks understanding and empathy. The room that I expect to have a window does not have one and no other room was available. He then told me to either cancel my reservation (which is non-refundable) or pay for upgrade. He is not even a supervisor or manager. He is the only staff in the hotel and he refused to listen to any reasoning. Since I am not from there and I was not feeling good, I had no choice but to pay for an upgrade. The upgraded room was not even that good. Will not book this hotel in the future.

The service desk was mostly unmanned, had to keep phoning the mobile number provided at the lobby for service. Cleanliness was so-so, they only cleaned places that is very prominent and the rest was just dusty. Dusts were on the hangers and even on the toiletries in the room. I guess the room was left unused for quite some time. There were renovation works going on nearby so it was kind of noisy and the rooms were not soundproof, could hear clearly the next door talking on her phone. Was attracted to stay as I saw that the toiletries they provided were from l'occitane and thought it would be a quality stay. But they cut on providing body lotion and handsoap which was clearly shown in their pictures that it will be provided. Especially during this Covid period, I thought handsoap is very crucial since sanitiser was not provided inside the room. Good thing is, there were many cafes around the hotel which you can explore if you liked cafe hopping.

Acardia Hotel.

It was a great experience for a short staycation. My partner booked for me online with his name even though it should be 2 persons name. Apparently on the website of the hotel we can’t add another guest name. Overall good experience comfortable room.

The room i booked and gotten was clean and spacious for sure even the toilet. But the toilet reminds me of handicapped toilet in shopping malls. Haha. Location wasnt really convenient. Overall its ok, i will consider booking again.

The staffs were extremely attentive and helpful. And the check-in was smooth and swift. Would propose they install a doorbell outside the entrance for guests to call in because not all guests have mobile phone with them. Otherwise, the guests would have to wait outside the main entrance until the receptionist sees them.

Tried out hotel for a couple staycation away from kids. Accommodations were acceptable but there was noise from neighbouring rooms, sound-proofing wasn't very good. OK for just a night stay for the price.

Check in was a Breeze and delighted that the room was pretty spacious and comfortable to stay in. Ordered food via grab and the concierge was kind enough to bring it to my room. Though I do not think the room is sound proof
