Based on the listing, we read this to be a single home that would cater for up to 14 people but, on the day of arrival, when we received the details it actually turned out to be 3 separate units on the same site. We messaged the owners and asked whether there was a communal area and are still waiting for a response. Also note, there is no photo of the very steep flight of stairs that need to be scaled to get to the 3 bedroomed unit.Once we got to the property, we accessed all units one of which was a converted garage. Bear in mind, the temperature was in the high 30s but the oscillating fan (in the garage) was also on full blast - it was freezing and completely uninhabitable. Again, we messaged the owners to see if there were any tricks to quickly heat it up...again still waiting for a response.Now, don't get me wrong, we got several AUTOMATED emails - "We are so excited for your arrival", "We hope you are settled in and enjoyed your first night at Sisters Retreat (103)! We hope you feel at home and want to check in to see how everything is?" and "I hope that your trip to Sisters Retreat was great!" The email with our check-out details actually showed additional responsibilities so we messaged highlighting that as well and, guess what, we are still waiting for a response.The place is like the photos but the complete lack of communication plus one of the group having to sleep on the sofa as the bedroom was freezing is not right.
